I'm so glad to have this case. I recently upgraded my note 3 to the 5. The 3 was protected by an otterbox, which i liked, even though the thing that prompted the replacement was a shattered screen that I lived with for a year. I was going to get another otterbox, but their note 5 case colors were less that desirable to me. So I gave this one a try- Glad I did. Not only was it 1/4 the price of the otterbox, I actually like the feel better. While I waited for the case to arrive, I nearly dropped the phone several times, as caseless, it's super slick and slim. This case gives it a much better size for my hand and the rubber outer shell is slip resistant. The finger ring / kickstand is a great feature. The holster and stylus are a nice bonus, although I'll never use them.

Overall very good protection for the phone however on the cons side is the front cover makes it a little difficult to see the screen clearly. Also extremely difficult to open up and get the phone.

Love the fact that it's not just a gel case but comes with a plastic case that the gel one fits over. The case having that "grippy" feel is a major plus as its easier to hold the large phone with small hands and it not constantly slip out. Dropped phone several times and the case seems to have better protection than previous Otter boxes that I've had.

It's not as shock absorption as described, and the clip sucks
