VTech KidiBuzz, Pink

This VTech KidiBuzz is so much fun. My daughter age 7 loves it. There was absolutely no problem setting it up. It took literally less than 2 minutes at most. And it has been a hit ever since. It has a quality camera, she takes pictures that are really clear (not like most kid toy cameras). The screen size is great. And she has so much fun texting her relatives. (Your child can text even if he/she cannot read yet) as it has kid friendly emojis and voice recordings that you can text, as well as pictures/selfies. It has stopped my daughter from always taking and playing on my phone. My favorite thing is that she can text me without me having to pay for service to provide that feature for her.

great value for the money, very real like, touch screen, great volume, last's long on a charge.

I have two little ones at home and the older one is four. For his birthday he asked for a phone and being the guardian I am was not going to buy him a real phone. To my surprise he had “done his research”, and found kidibuzz on a commercial. Low and behold I find it here on amazon just like he said. So after looking into it myself I decided it was probably the best option. Two days after ordering these two phones showed up. He asked for his sister to have one too (2yr). Set up is easy with WiFi and these phones are very parent controlled. I removed internet access completely and was easily able to download songs movies and books. The e books are my favorite because my two year old is reading along! They edit pictures and send them too me it’s super cool. They have learning games built in so I did t download any and everything is personalized to your kid. I’m just amazed at this tech and 10/10 have already recommended it to other parents. Super handy on road trips too! Oh my god and did I mention you can have it turn off when phone time is up, because you can! In other words guys this is it.

This has provided me with an invaluable daily educational resource for my child. I have taken advantage of the ability to use Amazon "third party" apps on this device as VTech learning lodge leaves much to be desired... I have had trouble getting the messaging app to work between my phone and this device. I like the parental controls and that it is running android. The tilt sensor leaves a lot to be desired in apps that use it. The touchscreen needs to be kept clean to work properly which can cause frustration for a small child. The battery life is short and I do not see a way to replace the battery when it finally has it's last charge discharge cycle. Overall happy with my purchase and as long as the battery remains usable I see this being a useful device for a long time to come.

It is certainly worth every penny girls absolutely adore there phones!!! They hold a charge well and have great games as well as phone texting they did something about being able to call out but I haven’t seen it in action also feel that some of apps are way too pricey but you can find good ones and the best is because we have two phones the apps show up on both if you chooseAll in all very impressed with the tablet/phone wish there was an easier way to connect to other phones via calling and texting right now we are only able to text the other Vtech phone but my girls just let be it and it has some really great learning apps

The biggest problem is really the Kidiconnect software. The main reason to buy this over other learning games is the supposed texting ability. They have updated the software but there is still no real notification sound or sight that I have received a text. I don't think I am going to log into kidiconnect continually to see if my Grandchildren sent me a text. I bought one intending to buy several if this had worked adequately. It is a decent learning game device and Leapfrog academy would be well worth the price for children that do not know how to read. The battery life also needs improvement 2-3 hours before needing another charge. My grand daughter that I bought this for is turning 6 and probably to mature for this device. I will probably give it to one of my younger grand children for Christmas. I would recommend for ages 2-5 for the learning games.

The media could not be loaded.  I DO NOT! Recommend this item to anyone it is not good. First of all it takes for ever to load up and to update and install, the screen kept freezing. My daughter didn’t even have it for a day and it just stopped working completely she didn’t even drop it it literally stopped working on its own. It’s kind of cheaply made and big and bulky it was actually bigger then I thought it was going to be it’s like a whole inch bigger then the iPhone 7 or 8 plus to be exact. It’s more like a tablet then a phone for kids. I am very disappointed with this item I am forced to return it ugh this sucks.

I purchased this for our two year old granddaughter and she loves it! She feels like such a big girl with her own phone.This was pretty easy to set-up and the picture quality was not bad either. She figured it out pretty quickly on how to use it without any problem, just like our phones. She sure takes a lot of pictures! We downloaded things she can watch and games she can play so it is safe for her to use and keeps her busy.The battery life is not very long and will need charging depending on usage time. Over all I'm very pleased with it.
