For the price it’s perfect!
Great value. Does the job. Looks perfect.I bought a 20 year old car. The owner prior to me had it all 20 years. Old Honda. Anyway, when I bought it the license plates (TWO. Front and back) were on the for so long the screws were completely corroded and permanently stuck to the car. I’ve even tried hammering them off. WD40. Nothing worked. I had to saw the old plates off. Went to a body shop wanted to charge me $150 to remove and drill new holes. UM…NO. For a whole year I drive around with my plates zip ties and gorilla taped to my car… but it was annoying when it would rain or hit a bump, it would go crooked and hang. Finally came across these. SO PERFECT! Thank goodness!I was hesitant because a lot of people said the screws didn’t fit. That they were too long but mine were perfect! The extra length allowed for the zip ties that were mounting it to the front and back of my car to hold. You can’t even tell it’s zip tied on. It’s secure but movable as well..Not too firm or stuck. Which I wanted! No more ghetto lookin’ plates. Wish I did this a year ago.

Great for mounting a license plate to a trailer back gate!
I purchased this mounting plate to mount my license plate to my trailer back gate. I have a 6x12 utility trailer with a mesh loading gate. When I first purchased the trailer I used zip ties to mount my plate to the mesh, but I did not trust the zip ties to last long term. I found this mounting plate and thought I would give it a try.It was very easy to install my plate and it mounted straight and very secure, no wiggling around like when I was using the zip tie. The mounting plate is plastic and the included screws do a great job of grabbing the plastic. No complaints at all.As you can see in my included photos, the screws stuck out a bit on the back so I purchased some locking fasteners so that the screws were not exposed as much and it added an extra element to keep the screws tight. (Locking fasteners purchased separately)I would recommend this for those who need to securely mount a license plate, and don't want to spend money doing it. It works very well and I would definitely purchase again if I ever need another one.

It gets the job done!
It fits my 2019 Audi A6 perfectly. The car originally came with just 2 brackets stick out in between the front grill. (Audi owners in the states that require front license plate should know what am I talking about). When install the front license plate to those 2 brackets, it makes the license plate hangs really low on the bumper and looks awkward. This mounting plate solves the problem. Because the multiple openings for screws it allows me to install the license plate towards to the center of the bumper and looks more naturally. It is made by thick hard plastic, which is fairly sturdy. I recommend this product to others.FYI, I did not use screws came with this product. I bought a pack of 6 screws (M6 x 12mm) and used 2 of them to secure the mounting plate onto the car (to the Audi brackets) and other 4 screws to install the license plate onto this mounting plate. It works very well.

Good alternative to OEM and is flexible as the bumper surface that it is attached to.
My Jeep Wrangler did not come with a front license plate holder. I checked this one out and was surprised at how durable it is relative its mounting surface on the car. Of course it is plastic, but it is not of the brittle composition as many are. It is as flexible as the plastic bumpers on most cars which would tend to flex with the bumper instead of snapping if it were brittle plastic or bending if it were metal. Screws fit nice and tight and the plate doesn't budge. Just be sure to have a good feel for when to stop. They won't strip if you understand material density and torque. I drilled into the plastic bumper of the Jeep in 4 places and used the "never rust stainless steel" License Plate Screws License Plate Screws for Domestic Cars & Trucks - RSD Never Rust Stainless Steel (Slotted Hex) from Amazon to secure it. In the photo, the 4 inside screws are those that attach to the bumper and the 4 outer screws are used for the plate itself.

Versatile, but flimsy
Had to raise our front license plate an inch or so due to a having a new light ramp installed underneath. All the mounting holes makes it is easy to get the plate at the right height/position without having to drill new holes in the bumper, which is great, but It is pretty flimsy, the plate screws are way to long and you have to have one of those ‘vanity frames’ to go on top to make it sturdy and look good.

When the bolts break off
Very common for Toyotas in the north to break off the rear license plate bolts. This plate bracket works great for mounting on the rear gate directly over the broken off bolts.

You might need to buy fasteners, but then you're all set.
This thing was just what I needed after I recently purchased a pre-owned Audi A3. Had problems installing the rear plate, and ordered this bracket to use as a temporary replacement while doing some repairs on the original bracket. Now that it's on the car I like it so much I will probably just leave it there permanently.Only problem was the fasteners that came with it were too long. Picked up some #14 x 1/2 in. sheet metal screws (Everbilt 806651). Those are almost too long, so I got out a good pair of cutters and snipped off the pointy ends of the screws. You don't lose any thread engagement by doing this but it ensures that the screws won't gouge the paint on the back of the trunk, which is where the bracket is on the A3.That plate isn't going anywhere now.

Works great
I bought this for my Audi Q7 4L…I wasn’t sure if it was going to fit, but it ended up fitting perfect! I had to Jimmy the bolts on the rear trunk and install them a bit on the side to lineup but the plastic frame ended up having some give and they installed perfectly and they’re solid now a month later and no more annoying licence plate rattle while driving

Great replacement for problematic/rusted out OEM plate mounting
I was giving my daughter my old car, and found that the embedded nuts in my Mazda 5 rear hatch door had rusted out. This ended up being much less money than the flimsy proper replacements, and did not require me to pull the trunk lid apart. Luckily the Mazda 5 hatch lid is made of a composite material (fiberglass?) so I drilled some holes, mounted this into the holes with self-tapping stainless screws, then bolted her new plate to this... great solution, all plastic, will not rot out, well made. Very happy with this solution.

Suitable for 99% Vehicles
The holes on my front bumper did not match the number plate, and I did not want to drill a new hole on my bumper.Despite amazon saying this product is not compatible with my 2015 Subaru Impreza, it fits like a glove. The horizontal and vertical slots make sure this will fit 99% of all vehicles.
