Crochet Characters Soft & Snuggly Cacti: 12 Succulent Designs Hardcover – December 21, 2017

These characters were so much fun to make! The booklet contains well-explained instructions for every stitch you need, and it was wonderful that the booklet contained all the materials for you to get started right away. The hook and needle are plastic, but perfectly functional. Everything else seemed like really good quality.I have crocheted a few stuffed animals before, so I know the stitches but am by no means a pro. I think this book would be great for beginners because it has plants that start at the simplest level, and has others that add only one new stich at a time. This being said, you would probably still benefit from YouTube-ing the stiches if this is your first time crocheting stuffed animals.All-told, I was pleasently suprised by this kit, and very pleased with the results!

The instructions are clear, the patterns are adorable, and there is plenty of yarn to make the two cacti the kit is meant to make. I also made others from the pattern book (not from the supplies) and have gotten positive feedback on them when I've given them to friends. Just be sure to read the pattern before you start crocheting because some of them want you to follow different procedures from what you may have seen in other amigurumi.

I really love this kit! Just started doing amigurumi and these instructions were fairly easy to follow. Looking forward to making all the projects in here.

The patterns are super cute, directions are easy to follow. My only issue with the kit is that all the patterns call for worsted weight yarn... yet the provided yarn is clearly a double knit. So it's actually pretty useless as a kit.
