The media could not be loaded. These probiotics were excellent. I sometimes get a painful ulcer on my gums and never knew why or what to do. I noticed over time that a high quality probiotic would heal these. I hadn’t been taking a probiotic recently and got one of those ulcers so I ordered these. In 2 days, the ulcer was gone. That only happens with a very good supplement. I will buy again.

The product is too expensive.

It's a pre/pro biotic and it works. It's easy to take - a gummy. Tastes good.

Great size and easy to swallow. I like that they are shelf stable as well

I feel worse after a few days of taking these.Maybe someone else would benefit from them, but my body doesn't like them.

Probiotics are an important part of maintaining good gut health. When taking anti-biotics, the good bacteria in your gut can be diminished and leave your gut health in poor shape, so typically, doctors will recommend taking probiotics during and after taking anti-biotics. I have always wondered how efficient consuming probiotics by mouth was as the stomach can be a volatile place. I think that science and research has given us much better probiotics these days that stand a better chance of surviving all the way past the stomach and where they need to be. Combining in prebiotics and enzymes provides a complete mix of everything needed to help the good bacteria get established and flourish to build a healthy gut.The Captain Biotics extra strength probiotics supplement comes with prebiotics and enzymes. It has more CFU (colony forming units) than many other probiotic supplements and also more strains of probiotic than average. They are made in the USA in a GMP certified facility, lab tested, non-GMO, vegan, and free of gluten, soy, dairy, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish and sugar (according to the label). The pills come in an easy to swallow cellulose capsule and the recommended serving size is two per day (making for a 30 day supply). They come in a white plastic bottle with a wide mouth screw on plastic cap.After taking this probiotic supplement for over a week, I could tell that my gut health had improved. Unlike some other probiotic supplements, I didn’t find myself feeling overly gassy or having a foul odor to my gas. I also didn’t find that my stomach felt as uneasy, so overall I think this supplement is better balanced and maybe not as aggressive as some others can be (it doesn’t just feel active, it feels more stable). I think this is a pretty good probiotic (with prebiotic and enzymes) that worked well for me and one that I would recommend.

There was a tamper resistant layer under the jar lid. The instructions recommend storing the opened pills in a cool, dry place or the refrigerator and keeping the included desiccant packet in the jar.Please note that there are 2 capsules in a serving and the jar only contains 30 capsules (15 servings). I do appreciate that since this is a new probiotic to my system, I can “ease” into adding it to my routine by taking one capsule (½ a dose) to start.I’ve always found it to be a bit hard to evaluate supplements for the purpose of a review, and as a result mostly note any unpleasant tastes or side-effects. These probiotic pills are a reasonable size, have no unpleasant taste or aftertaste (I swallow them with water or weak coffee) and no lasting unpleasant after-effects. I did have a bit of a stomach ache the two days after I took the first 2 capsules (one capsule/day) but that side effect has since gone away and I’m not completely certain the probiotics were the cause. I haven’t noticed any other effects.They are expensive compared to other probiotics but also have more probiotic strains than I have seen before.5 stars
