Genuine Seiko movement, useful instructions, fast shipping, good packaging!
I ordered a Seiko wall clock movement to repair a 30+ year old clock. It was a drop-in replacement for the existing movement, and was not difficult to install with the detailed directions. The new movement is quiet and a well-made, genuine part. The package showed up faster than projected, and was packed well enough with bubble wrap and void space that everything was fine despite some crush damage to the package. In summary, everything was great, would order again without hesitation.

If replacing an existing unit, check the thread length and not the diameter.
Shaft size listings are a bit unclear. The threaded diameter is mostly constant at around 1/4" and the numbers listed as "thread" are actually the length of the threaded portion.

It worked, new clock would
It worked! I’m surprised. My expectations were low. It was a little tricky to install given the clock I have has a curved face. It didn’t fit correctly and the hands are frail, but it’s working and keeps time well. The hour hand doesn’t line up perfectly, but good enough.

This one works. We tried a couple other ones that didn't, so we're happy with this one. The gold hands aren't the prettiest, but we were able to use our old ones.
