WWII US .38 Pistol M3 Victory Revolver Shoulder Holster with Shell Loops- M3 Brown Tanker Holster

Excellent product. Holds my 1947 Taurus like a charm.

The other review stating the photo doesn’t do it justice is right, I was expecting it to be some thin flimsy low grade quality leather it was not, not to say it’s the best but it is right up there, out of the package it was tight requires the revolver to sit in the holster for a day or two to stretch it to form around your revolver, the cartridge loops are also tight fitting (for specified round .38 special-357mag) the only down side I can see is the stitching where the shoulder strap connects to the holster in the front I can tell it will break over time, I solved this by punching six holes in it and stitched it with waxed thread. Over all would recommend 100%Use with a smith and Wesson model13-2 in 357

Sturdy and attractive reproduction of the classic military shoulder holster for the Victory model Smith & Wesson medium-frame revolver. The materials and stitching and fasteners are solid. I like the addition of loops for two full reloads on the strap.

Friend loved this Birthday gift.

The workmanship was exquisite. The leather was very nice but very stiff and needed to be softened. I applied several coats of Mequires Leather Conditioner then left it out in sun. This resulted in significant softening the leather and changed the color to more like the issued USMC darker brown saddle color. Recommended that the S&W Victory pistol be placed in the holster quickly to get the holster to correct shape. The 3/8 Spcl rounds need to be inserted quickly to shape the holster strap. Coat the strapagain leaving the rounds inserted.

Fits .38 special Taurus

Feels strong for price, the cartridge loops could be looser for a 38. or 357. in my case. I got it for a saa and it fits it nicely. The only problem is if your skinny the strap will have alot of dangling room but that's fixed with a little string.

This is a real nice holster. Well made and the loops are leather. I saw an old original and the loops were elastic. Got it quickly and I really like mine. Very reasonably priced.
