85oC should be fine if it is evenly heated up

I get very close to 6 inches for outside diameter by measuring the circumference halfway up the beaker. The contact area of the bottom is about 17.75 square inches.

What is the exact width of this 3000ml beaker at the top of the lip/rim?

The rim diameter is 6.25". At the pouring flare in the rim it's almost 6.5"
