a good start
This author is a newbie.as such, should be viewed kindly. I did find the first 5 chapters difficult as a lot of the musing was just repeating itself. The Editor is responsible for this area. From chapter 6 however, the action started and it got better. I have ordered book 2 to see how the author develops.

Good
This an ok read & Rosemary came across as stupid & thick & I have no idea how she brought up her daughter & also found her a little annoying. I was expecting it to be a quirky fun read but it wasn't so I was a little disappointed.Going to be try the next book in the series to see if it improves now that they have there powers.

A wonderful book
I enjoyed reading this book, I couldn't put it down until I'd finished reading it. I can't wait to see what happens next. Rosemary inherits her gran's house in Myrtlewood. There are some really strange people that live there. She finds out she is a witch but her powers are bound. It's a story of good versus evil. Well worth five stars.

Exciting, Magical Wonderful Book
I loved reading this amazing book. It had me interested right from the first page until the last page.Loved all the quirky characters especially Margie and get magical food & drink. You can really immerse yourself in this book. Thorn Manor in Myrtlewood is a dilapidated magical house, one minute it looks like it's going to fall down the next it's back to its previous glorious, beautiful Manor.I really felt like I was there, in the moment, whether it was in the cafe or Thorn ManorCan't wait until 30th April 2022 for "Experimental Magic" to come out. I've pre ordered it so I don't forget

Loved it
I absolutely loved this first book in this new series, the characters all have interesting past that I'm sure we'll get to find out about throughout the other books, I'm looking forward to reading the next installment.
