Very strong lock and fairly easy to install.
I bought two of these to secure a very heavy custom built door for a hidden closet. These locks provided an easy way to maintain the "wall look" without having to use door knobs to open. I used a benign switch system to operate the locks and to further hide the fact that the wall is actually a door. These locks are identical to the locks used by my former employer on the exterior entry doors for security purposes. Very heavy duty and quality built.

Weak actuactor/magnet.
It works as long as the door is not pushing out the strike a little bit... Just a little bit of pressure is enough to shackle the strike bar.I installed it in an exterior door, that obviously has a seal (weather stripe) in the frame. This seal strip makes the door to close with a small resistance that pushed the door back. And that small pressure is enough to shackle the latch. I have to push the door with my hand so the door latch bolt does not touch the strike to allow the the magnet to unlock it.I guess that for interior doors without weather stripe, this electric strike may work.
