Why did you pick this product vs others?:smells like cedar .. need to put in closet to deter moths

I was really looking forward to getting these, but they're such a disappointment. I've hung up 4 of these in my closet and I can't smell them at all, I've tried them in multiple places in my house and none of them smell.

I'm giving it 4 stars because of the packaging. It's was beautiful. Worthy of giving as a gift.Unfortunately, it seemed stale and not fresh. Could barely smell it. I was looking for something to put in closets and drawers to freshen things up.Was a little disappointed.

Cedar had minimal for. Lavender was ok. I’ve had better. I bought these for clothes drawers and linen closet.

Best lavender ever! Smells wonderful , a beautiful bright blue almost purple color and nicely packaged in small bags easy to insert into my drawer sachet embroidered bags. I put two packages in each of my 3x5” embroidered bags.

So far so good. Not nearly as strong as fresh cedar, and I plan to get some of that on my next trip to the Texas Hill Country. But they do smell like cedar. I'm hoping they'll keep the musty smell from my dresser drawers. Time will tell.
