Well Made and No Noise
I needed a device that would let me swap one set of my studio monitors' inputs to a "courtesy pair" of XLRs for when students or clients come over with their laptops/interfaces. Normally I'd have to dig around behind my studio desk to manually swap out cables but with this switcher box it is as simple as turning the knob. There are no pops or noises when turning the knob and the device does not add any noise or degrade the signal in any way. It simply works as it should and does its job without being noticeable in any way, which is exactly what I needed. I keep the middle "B" position unused as a way to have an instant "emergency off" should something ever go awry. One thing other buyers have mentioned is the loose knob. Mine did get loose at first but there is an Allen set screw (most likely metric?) that can be tightened as needed and this easily solved the problem. Just loosen the set screw, line up the arrow to the appropriate A/B/C and snug it up. Easy. The factory that makes these likely has a certain torque limit on that set screw when assembling and to me this is a complete non-issue as I have tons of Allen wrenches on hand.

Great concept - good design - bad knob
I got this to go in front of my audio interface so I can leave all of my instruments plugged in and just switch between them when inspiration (or lack there off) is striking. I have my bass rig plugged into the ”B” position obviously, guitar rig (stereo) on both sides of “C”, I use “A” for mics and mixers and such. It works as designed and is very quiet. The problem I had is with the knob. The knob has an Allen set screw that wouldn’t grab on the round shaft after tightening. I fixed this however. I filed a flat spot onto the shaft where the screw goes and all better. You will get pops when switching but I am sure that has to due with sudden changes in impedance. That is to be expected. Be smart.

This is a very well built XLR cable switcher
There are about a half-dozen variations of 3-in and 1-out XLR switchers. Some are very light and tinny feeling, while one or two others are solidly constructed. One of these solidly constructed models is this Solupeak model. There's really not much to say either that no signals are lost in the process of switching and the music sounds as good as ever. I'm glad that I made the decision to get this particular switcher.I do wish, however, that we had some options as to the number of inputs (i.e. I'm looking for a 4-5 input XLR switcher), but I would surmise that if they did exist, they'd be far more expensive.

issues
After a couple of months the knob loosened and had to tighten. Sometimes the connection integrity when switching inputs needs adjusting.

This switch failed after 5 months use.
I purchased the switch to switch a pair of PA speakers between two different audio mixers. After 3-4 months the right channel first started to intermittently fail and after another month it went died.It did last a year and I question the reliability of this product!!!

Very unique and helpful product
I use this for switching between a DAC for Headphone use with Gaming/Movies/TV and Music Listening on IMac and also an Audio Interface connected to the iMac for Guitar Tracking and Recording Music. The XLR cables coming from the OUT from the Switcher go into a pair of Balanced KRK Monitor speakers. So I can use the Monitor speakers for Music Creation with the Audio Interface connected to iMac or Switch over to the DAC for Gaming, watching TV or listening to Music through the Monitor speakers. Cool thing about this XLR Switch Box is it doesn't even need to be plugged in with a power source. It's a total Home Run
