StohlquistCanyon Lifejacket (PFD)

As a female this universal sized PDF doesn’t fit well. In order for it to not rife up over my face I have to cinch the bottom strap so tight that I can barely breathe. There is a whole lot of padding, which I guess is the point, that I feel like the Pillsberry doughboy. We are going on a white water trip next month and I’ll use it for the first time and I hope I don’t slip out of it. 😉 So for now because I’ve only tried it on in a pool and wasn’t thrilled, I’m giving it two stars. Will update after my trip.

After an unexpected swim riding big waves on the South Fork Gorge Run, I really felt these PDF's lived up to the challenge. I trust this jacket in any White Water my skill might take me.

This says Adult... more like a kids large

Took this PFD as main device on 30 day winter Colorado River, Grand Canyon rafting expedition.Was very comfortable over dry suit and insulating layers.Comfortable on days when not wearing all the insulation.

Lousy fit, universal fit is not good for most body types especially big men. Returned it.

Would buy again

The fit was great and the design allows for ease of movement.The extra buoyancy is a great benefit in big water.

J'ai acheté se gilet de sauvetage pour quand je me baigne car j'ai peur de l'eau. Je l'adore, il flotte beaucoup et avec le col je suis sur que ma tête reste hors de l'eau. En prime, il est super confortable!!!
