good product that's never let me down
This TP-Link AC600 Wireless Adapter has never let me down! It’s been a great solution for improving my Wi-Fi connection, especially on devices that don’t have built-in dual-band capability. The adapter connects quickly, maintains a stable connection, and handles both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands without any issues. For the price, it’s a fantastic value. The setup was easy, and it works seamlessly with my devices. I’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s always been reliable. If you’re looking for a good quality USB adapter at a reasonable price, this one is definitely worth it!

Amazing
Bought this for my grandad as a repair shop quoted him about £100 to fix his Wi-Fi card, i told him about this and ordered it for him and it works perfectly. Its small and unnoticeable the signal is great and it works perfectly fine with his computer. Simple plug and play, no noticeable power difference either. He is very pleased and saved £100

WN822N 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi Adapter | Windows 10 | w/ Manual Driver Installation Guide
I bought this Wi-Fi adapter as I updated to Windows 10 and my previous Wi-Fi adapter (TP-LINK TL-WDN3200 N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter) was struggling.According to TP-LINK, the TL-WN822N Wi-Fi adapter works instantly with Windows 10 - drivers are installed automatically (http://www.tp-link.com/en/article-15587.html).However, I had to install the drivers manually (you'll need a USB stick and an internet connection). See the bottom of my review for instructions.Unfortunately, our BT HomeHub 5 Router only kicks out 60Mbps at max, and my bedroom receives 30Mbps, so I can't test the 300MBps claim of this Wi-Fi adapter. However, the connection does seem stable. This adapter looks pretty neat, it's got connection stability, speed, and I'm happy with it. There is a blinking light, but covering it with some Blue Tack fixed that. It seems like a safe bet, as there's so many positive reviews for it. You needn't worry about drivers - but make sure you have this review handy to guide you, in case automatic installation fails.Would I recommend this product myself? Yup - it works pretty well! However, you should check if a 5Ghz connection would be better for you. It has less distance, and both your router and Wi-Fi adapter need to support it, but it'll give a cleaner, less congested signal than a 2.4Ghz one - which could be very helpful in a crowded apartment block.Guide:- Download the newest Windows 8.1 compatible driver from http://www.tp-link.com/en/download/TL-WN822N.html#Driver- Open the .zip file, and copy the Windows 8.1 drivers (unsure about 32/64 bit? See next point!) to a USB stick.+ To find out which version of Windows you have (on the Windows 10 PC!), hold the "Windows Key" and press "R", type "dxdiag", press enter, and see what the popped-up window says about your Operating System.- Copy the three files to your USB stick, into an empty folder.- Go to your Windows 10 PC, and plug in the TL-WN822N Wi-Fi adapter. If nothing happens, follow the next steps.- Hold the "Windows" key and press "X". Select "Device Manager".- You should see something like "Realtek xxx Wireless LAN xxx Network Adapter". Right click it, and select "Update Driver Software". Choose the second option, "Browse my computer for driver software". Click "Browse", and then find your USB drive. Choose the folder that the files are in, then press "OK".- Your drivers should update successfully. Maybe give your computer a restart. If you found me review/guide helpful, please give me a "Yes!" - and if I didn't help you make a decision or fix your Wi-Fi adapter, give me a "No!". Hopefully you'll enjoy a fast, stable connection soon!

Solved my slow connection and perfect solution for old Wifi card
Just moved to my new house and my office and Racing sim setup in the loft as the router is on the bottom floor and it has improved from 57mbps to 380 mbps, would recommend this for anyone who struggles to get a good wifi connection with their inbuilt wifi.Gaming has not dipped in performance as that was my main worries but it has performed the better than ethernet cable in my old house.Plug in and prompt to install driver and will work as it should.

This is the last TP-link product I buy!
Every single TP-link wifi adapter I have owned has suddenly started playing up after a year or so. They work absolutely fine, they are fast and easy to use, then they just turn to rubbish suddenly and without warning. This one has started playing up after only a few (2) months. I moved it about 40cms, the unique plug of the stupid "free" usb cable popped out, and now the PoS thing keeps cutting out randomly, every time I turn my PC on I have to unplug this adapter and plug it back in just to get it started and then again every 10-20minutes. Cutting out in the middle of online games. I've only had it 2 months and it's already playing up. And that stupid usb cable, they make it seem like they're doing you a favor supplying it free, but it has a unique plug you can only get from TP-link themselves, absolutely nothing but a tiny bit of friction holding it in, it comes out as soon as you touch the adapter. It does get almost 60MB/s download speeds, but not much use when it keeps cutting out.

Excellent!!
This is an excellent device! I had to move my Plex server to opposite end of the house to the router. Found I was getting 3mbs which was not fast enough to run the server, installed the TP Link and now I'm getting over 400mbs! Had to disable the onboard pc WiFi card in device manager to get this to work though. Worth every penny. You don't need an expensive mesh system if you only need to speed up 1 device due to its location in the house, just buy this😁

Beware of the bandwidth limitations of USB
These are, in theory, great little devices. They're easy to set up and very effective in bringing WiFi 6 and WPA3 security to a legacy device via USB. But therein lies the problem: Unless your WiFi network is ridiculously slow netowrk performance is very likely to be severely limited by the bandwidth of USB on your old device. For example, I found the throughput of both USB 3.0 and 3.1 actually made performance much worse than the built in WiFi on two different Laptops.I summary; really great devices, but they're not going to bring WiFi 6 bandwidths due to the constraints of USB, so tread carefully and do your sums before you buy.
