If you’re looking for a battery operated fountain this one works great. It lasts a long time on a set of batteries. It’s easy to clean and a nice size although on the smaller side. It’s quiet and it’s got a sensor so it’s not always running. Good fountain for the money.

The fountain works very well for the past half year but stopped working recently. The customer helped diagnosed the problem and sent me a new pump very quickly.

I purchased this fountain for a feral cat that lives on my enclosed porch. The unit is well made and easy to assemble and is very quiet. The only sound it makes is when the water makes a little blurp sound when activated by motion. I am returning the product because I couldn't get it to hold "continuous" flow. It kept resetting to "motion" detection mode. My cat is very timid and did not like the blurp sound. She actually refused to come onto the porch for 2 days (had to set her food on the steps) until I removed the fountain from her space. I'll have to stick with her water bowl because I know she is getting plenty of water that way.

So, I mostly bought this, (I actually bought 2,) for my dog, who is a great dane. I mean I also have 2 cats, and they like it, but whatever.The important thing, and all you dog parents with one of these will know what I mean, is that this fountain has minimal SLORP. I have a SLORP SLORP SLORP dog. The ones that just really get in there and go scuba diving in their water bowl. Then they come up for air and it's just a drippy, drooly, I could probably mop my floor with what comes off his face mess. WELL NOT THIS TIME! It's not deep enough for him to SLORP, but the auto fill keeps him SLORPING. But he doesn't get enough all at once to mop my floors. There's still a little spillage, but I have a rubber mat underneath it that actually manages to catch the spill drool off this beast. Whereas before, it would just overflow from the amount showering down from his snoot.They are SUPER quiet, easy to assemble and easy to clean. I would totally recommend if you have a SLORP dog. Or cats. They like it too.

I purchased this fountain in Oct 2024 and the motor just stopped working. It was definitely a plus for my cat husband. It checked all the boxes for me as far as ease of use, cleaning, and my kitty enjoyed it. So I am looking for another fountain that I can hopefully, get more than 7 months of use.

I was super excited for this fountain because I needed it where there was no outlet near.Functioned perfectly fine for the fest few weeks and then all the sudden stopped working.Took off the cover to replace the batteries and saw what's pictured above.Super disappointing and of course happens right after return window closed.The batteries and cover were not exposed to water at all hence the design no idea why this happened but now I have a waste of money.

This is a really nice, little fountain. I ordered the one marked “New Fountain,” with measurements of 10” x 10” x10’, but received the 7.28” x 7.28” x 5” … so, I returned that one, explaining the issue and reordered the larger one. I was sent the smaller one, again. That is on Amazon and does not take away from my review of this item. I was wanting the taller one, as I have an older, arthritic cat who has trouble lowering his head down to the floor to eat/drink. With that said, I modified the height by putting something under the fountain to elevate it some and moved on. The set-up, for me, was a tad confusing, but I did get it together within about 15 minutes. Basically, the short wire provided goes from where the batteries are inserted to the left side of the back of the fountain. The longer wire provided plugs into the right side, then the wall, if you’re going to use electricity to run it. I have the batteries in there in case we loose power, I can easily switch to that option, but, otherwise have it plugged into the wall.I didn’t think I was going to like this fountain, but I do … a lot. Once the height issue was resolved, everything else about this is great. A HUGE plus with this fountain is it is silent. The only time I've noticed it making any noise was when it was set to sense motion. The sound of the water bubbling up, when motion is detected, is the noise that this makes. When set to "always on," it is silent. The cats went right up to it and used it immediately. Other people who have reviewed this fountain feel that the pump doesn’t push the water up enough. True, it is not a big “bubble” coming up, but it does create gentle movement in the pooled water so that the cats can see that movement and drink from there. I have a larger fountain in another area of the house and it does bubble more than this one. My cats are okay with both. As with anything that has to do with cats, they are all different. I think it depends on the cat as to whether they accept something new/different, or not.To note, our power did go off and then came back on. Prior to going off, I had set the fountain to constant bubble (not motion sensor). When the power came back up, the fountain had defaulted to motion sensor, which was fine. My cats prefer the constant bubble. The little one freaks out if the fountains surprises her and comes on as she’s walking by. : )For me, this is a keeper. I can’t speak to how long it will last. It’s been about a week with no problems.

I have automatic dishes for dogs and cats. This is by far my favorite. It is easy to fill and clean, and it is so much quieter than the one it replaced. I love the ability to set it for motion only or to keep it running. Most importantly, my cat loves it!

I got this for the boat, and another for the car (for my sick cat who I took on my out-of-town weekend trips). The white lid is not tight enough to prevent spilling. It really needs a rubber gasket. So I keep the water level near the minimum. I’m not sure why spilling due to tilting is a concern in the first place unless it’s in a moving vehicle. But if it’s in a moving vehicle then water in the reservoir splashing around is inevitable. I’m going to put it into a plastic container so spilled water can be collected and I can fill the reservoir a lot more. Even so, this is the best water fountain available for a moving vehicle and I hope they continue to improve their product as there are many traveling pets out there.
