Would this work well with a dynamic mic like the Rode Podmic?

Can you still send 48v to the mic while this is in use or does only the preamp get power?

Will this help make a microphone louder for street singing (busking)? or is it only designed for studios/recording and podcasts

I'm confused! It says it's for dynamic & Ribbon mics, but it also says my amp must have phantom power, my amp doesn't. So this won't work for me?
