I cut 3/4 pvc every day. First use my blade chiped, after a few weeks the green release button stoped working. I have had better luck with kline, ridged, greenlee, and lenox

I am a huge fan of hilmor products. I have every tool they sell unfortunately this item broke after the second use. the blade seems to be made out of very cheap thin metal. I really hope they redesign this tool to have a stronger blade because for the two times I was able to use it I really enjoyed the one handed operation it is very slick how the blade flings back.... get it right hilmor

great pvc cutter love it like all my hilmor tools. I work in hvac industry so a must have. a bit pricey but well worth the cost to me

This is the same as the Lenox cutter. Return spring will no doubt fail within a few months. I’m on my 3rd one In less than 2 years. Going to go to different brand.
