Used for when I was on a tripod on a recent trip to prevent camera movement for longer exposure shots. Just remember to move shot selection dial to remote and I had zero problems using this to take shots. Was never very far from the camera, so I can't tell you about range.

I bought to replace an actual Nikon remote that got submerged in water and stopped working. It worked for a bit, then suddenly stopped. Turns out the battery it came with was old. The range seems the same as the old remote. Would recommend to anyone with a Nikon

I bought one of these 9 years ago and when the battery died, it was almost cheaper to buy this new one with battery included as opposed to driving to the store and buying a battery. Looks just like the Nikon brand name one I bought and lost with my first digital Nikon but much cheaper.

I have been using a tethering program and triggering it from the keyboard. The images flow into a input folder for GSW (Green Screen Wizard) to process in "Event" mode. The recent upgrade assumes you will run GSW in full screen mode. The remote wireless trigger allows me to do so, firing the D5100 from the remote and the finished results show up on my screen. Love it works great.

Look elsewhere. New out of box the top piece wasn’t even glued down properly leaving the inside exposed and unusable. Returned and refunded. I’m glad I didn’t wait until right before leaving for my trip to France or I would have been terribly disappointed and scrambling for a replacement.

Excellent product. Excellent price. Terrible shipping practices. They put this thing in a box big enough to hold a 6-pack of beer. It’s 2 inches long. Worked perfectly out of the box. If it doesn’t work you probably don’t have your camera in the right mode, google it.

The remote works sometimes and sometimes you need to go and stand very close to the camera to actually make the click happen.

An inexpensive way to take selfies. Worked the first time. Not Nikon brand physical quality, but functionally great.

Es muy simple, pero está claro, funciona como uno original y el material es de la misma ligereza/resistencia que el original a un precio menor claro.
