Unisex Kids Caterpillar Kids World Book Day Costume (pack of 1)

I have to say this was a fantastic world book day costume! Happy mum and child. My daughter adores the book the very hungry caterpillar and this was the perfect piece for her costume. The colours were lovely and bright and the "face" of the caterpillar acted as a good cover from the wind and fit perfectly around her face. Arrived promptly and packaged well.Elastics on the side meant it was easy for my child to put it on and take if off by herself, as well as the fact that it is opened from the bottom so, no need to unbutton anything etc also making for easy toilet trips at school.Only negatives is I wish there had been a way to push back the velcro fastenings as they were quite scratchy on the occasions they would come apart (due to them touching her chin).Another con is that you do seriously have to consider a bigger size. I ordered 8-10 on a hunch and due to another review due to my daughter being a taller than average 4 year old (looks about 6 years old) but didn't expect the 8-10 to fit so perfectly. Almost smallish around the face.Otherwise, very well made costume, good durable non scratchy material (daughter has eczema and didn't annoy her), colour scheme fits well and fairly priced. Thanks

The material etc is great for the money however the sizing is very small, I ordered the ‘s’ for my 4 / nearly 5 yr old which stated was aged 4-6 year old but it’s a very tight fit over his little head and not going to get much wear out of it at all so will be returning unfortunately other than that it seems well made

The actual costume concept was really good but unfortunately it just wasn't made well the Patten didn't match up from front to back and the velcro fasteners had to be removed and restitched to line up so it actually fastened. I ordered a size large for a 4 year old and it's still too small for him and won't fasten round his head. I won't return it as it was for world book Day and it's been used now as it was too late to get anything else but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else

I bought fory son for World book day. The colours are very vibrant and it fitted brilliantly. It's on the smaller side, which suited my son. A lovely and cost effective choice for World book day. I would recommend.

I bought a small size which is meant to fit 4-6 year olds,my daughter is 3 and it was to tight to do up on her neck, I don’t think she will get much time playing in the outfit as she will out grown quicker than I thought. The company do need to re-look at the sizes.
