This is an above average budget headphone. I own $200 headphones, and can tell you this Skullcandy does lack in highs and mids, but not terribly. It's well worth the money. Fairly impressive bass for it's size. I only point these things out because I see other reviewers gushing about how great and awesome sounding these headphones are - they are above average for the price but they are NOT as good as higher end Skullcandy, nor as good as other pricier headphones which is to be expected. If you have an Equalizer on your music player you can remedy most of this. If you listen to YouTube music often with these, you can't change the EQ. So don't get your hopes sky high, that said these sound good for music and talking on the phone - that includes what you hear as well as what your mic is sending out in phone calls (I tested it on both ends).They are a bit tight fitting in my opinion, if you wear glasses you're going to want to lift the arms slightly above the back of your ear or the springy action of this headset is going to hurt more than others as they are tighter than other cans. If you don't like headphones that are a bit tight these are probably not for you unless you have a smaller head. I took matters into my own hands and heated up the center headrest with a hot hairdryer and bend them back so they were less tight. Then I ran the headband under cold water to "lock" the new position into place. This worked great, they are no longer tight. If you try this be careful not to snap the headphones in half. Gentle pressure under heat works great. Also you CAN adjust this set of Skullcandy headphones, they extend and lengthen, unlike what some reviewers said, but you cannot adjust how tight they feel unless you use my technique above, just so you know.A good buy though, and I would buy again.

I did not want to spend an enormous amount, these are strictly for participating in a Discord channel on chatroom on cell phone. Too much reverb with cell mic only, so headphones were suggested to participate. These have great sound quality, good comfort and definite sound cancellation outside of what your focusing on. My only complaint is the weird button system, supposedly to turn internal mic on & off... fortunately I can use the buttons on Discord to achieve

This is my second pair of Skull Candy headphones. The first set that I had for several years was pricier and a little more comfortable, but the sound quality between that set and this one are the same. Very good quality nice and crisp not too much bass which I like. The only thing that I wish is that they would fold, but again for the price you can't really beat it.

odd part is that the headset isn't marked left or right but it fits best with the single cable on the left ear. For my use I needed an extension cable for my desk at work. With the cable on left it is too short to reach my PC. But all in all I do like this. The sound is great and doesn't tire my ears.

Great product for price- but not adjustable

These are great headphones. My son needed a pair for school, and these sound great & fit him perfectly!

I don’t know if my head is too big but it hurts my ears when they been on to long

I just needed a simple set of budget headphones for occasional computer use. So many conflicting reviews made me very wary but on this first use I am so pleased. Sound quality is much better than I hoped. They are obviously not premium headphones but they sound great with clarity and good bass. Obviously plastic but they are light and reasonably comfy after a few trials. The ear cups are fixed to the headband with no swivel or hinge so getting the flat onto my ears took some experimenting. Wearing the headband on the high back of my head rather than right on the top works very well. Good value, I hope they last - it says there's a 2 year guarantee.

I was surprised how good these were for entry level headphones and would say they were comparable to entry level Sony and Sennheiser headphones that cost may £5 to £10 more. They are very efficient with higher levels of sound and the bass response is excellent without detracting from the overall sound however on more complex sounds I felt the sound was maybe slightly more muddled with a slight reduction in clarity. Overall though very impressed especially the efficiency and therefore higher volume. I also found them very comfortable and the remote worked well. I've not tested the microphone in the remote on the cable. Cable is quite short, fine for portable devices but I use a tablet with my exercise bike with the tablet on the handlebars and the cable just reaches so really for portable devices only. The 'L' and 'R' is also hard to read as embossed in the plastic with very small characters. The box is pretty much throwaway, once you get the headphones out its not in a fit state to keep. I've seen cheaper nastier headphones with far nicer boxes.First pair of skullcandy headphones I've bought and unlikely to be the last. Overall very impressed. Maybe after 3 months I'll have a different verdict but great so far.

But the speakers sponge covers are not good quality in less time it may be damaged

I've been using Skullcandy headphones for years, audio quality is always great, this is a single wire CITA headset that has a built in microphone. Will work with anything that has a 3.5mm combined jack. I wear mine for hours without much ear strain, really do recommend both this product and the brand in general.

I bought these whilst working from home to use with online meeting platforms like Zoom and Webex, as they have a built in microphone. They work OK and the sound it OK, but the wire twists round into a braid constantly, and they are tight on the ear. I wear a pair of stud earrings and also a pair of glasss, so things you put on your ears that pin them back can really ache after an hour-long meeting. I need to take regular breaks when using these. For all-day comfort I'd recommend the Venue headphones which I also have for music rather than meetings (until I realised I can also pair them with my phone at the same time as the laptop, for my meetings). I can wear the Venue headphones for 8 or more hours a day. I've had several Skullcandy headphones and the quality is usually good. I've been very impressed in the past.
