What's the difference between "A" and "AA"? The length is the same.

A is definitely looser than AA. I use A on my long finger and AA on the small one. AA will not fit the long finger.

Will this help raise a bent finger end (drops @ 45 degree angle from fall)? Middle rt finger 3" long 7/8" diameter @ 3'd joint, bent segment 1" long?

It should definitely help. I dislocated my middle finger 8 months ago and even after therapy, still need to wear the brace. My finger bends at tge middle joint, but it stabilizes the entire finger.

How do you adjust the tension? Thank you

Since this device is designed to always have some spring loaded tension each time it is applied on a finger no adjustments is necessary

Would this be good for trigger thumb?

Depends on the severity but you would do better with something along the lines of the braceability trigger thumb splint to retain more use of your hand.
