I originally ordered these in a different size but we soon realized our cedar slab for the mantle was narrower than the braces. So I contacted mountain metals and he was so kind. He told me to just send them back and he would make me new ones that were smaller. No fuss and no needing to do an exchange or refund or anything. I would definitely order from again as they are high quality steel braces and very sturdy. We think they are perfect!! Thank you mountain metals

These brackets are extremely heavy duty, well made, and perfect for my mantel.They came in almost a week earlier than expected also which allowed my husband to finish my mantel before Christmas!We will definitely keep this shop in mind for any future metalwork needs.

Brackets are the perfect finishing touch to our fireplace remodel. First rate fit and finish. Love the riveted technique vs sloppy weld like others. Super clean. Great product. Shipped quick and packaged well. Thanks for maintaining reasonable pricing as well. A nice additional touch is using rustic pyramid head wood screws (#12) from Wild West Hardware here on Amazon.
