The elastic bands on the corners of the fitted sheet are nice and beefy, not wimpy thin little elastics you normally get, so the fitted sheet stays securely in place even if you toss and turn a lot.The pockets on the fitted sheet are deep as advertised, easily fitting a 12” mattress. I think it would fit up to a 15”The color was exactly as shown. That isn’t always the case so I was happy about that. (I got the blue one. I can’t speak to the other colors).The sheets feel like any other cotton sheets so nothing special there. I found it lacking in the sateen quality in that it should be more “slippery” but it’s still fine.The reason I knocked off one star is that it smells HORRIBLE when you first receive the package. You could smell the chemicals before you even take it out of its plastic packaging. I had to wash the sheet set 5 times in hot water with a ton of detergent before the smell finally faded to an acceptable level. So if you’re chemically sensitive, these sheets are not for you. Otherwise, I would recommend.

OK, in July I reviewed this product, and gave it a less than perfect rating, since my sheet set arrived with a torn seam on the fitted sheet. I brought to my tailor, who sewed it up. The test will be how they work on the thick mattress and how they last through the next wash.Now, in August, I am totally impressed with Westbrooke Linens. After my bad experience with the torn bottom sheet, a company rep reached out to me to try to make things right for me as a customer. The rep said that the company would send me a second set of queen sheets for free due to my poor experience with the torn sheet.To me, this is an amazing example of exceptional customer service. I am really impressed by this company! We've been sleeping on our sheets now for several weeks. Both sheet sets are beautiful. The hand is super soft, and they are very well made, high quality cotton. The fitted sheet perfectly fits my very deep mattress. We are very happy with our sheets, and I highly recommend this product and this company.

I bought the Queen set in light blue. I have a very thick mattress, and the fitted sheet fits wonderfully as well as stays in place. I do wish I could have a Queen size fitted sheet and standard pillows shams but have a King size flat sheet as I can’t really tuck in the sides of the flat sheet under my thick mattress. After the first 1-2 washes they still felt a bit like sandpaper, but I soaked them in vinegar and salt water mixture overnight and washed an additional few times which softened them nicely. The color is also a very nice baby blue with a hint of aqua. Overall a nice sheet set for the money, but really wish I could switch out the Queen size flat sheet for a King size without having to buy a whole King set.

I ordered a set of these sheets a year ago and they are my favorite - super soft and silky with super strong elastic on the fitted sheet. Well, fast-forward a year and I decided to order another set in a new color. I don’t know what happened but the second set is nothing like the first - not very soft and actually a tad scratchy, and the elastic on the fitted sheet is fine but far less substantial than before. I don’t foresee myself ordering these again.
