Revolutionary Hard Cider Kit Extra - 2 Gallon Conical Brewing Kit

I’m still in the process of making my first batch of hard cider, so I cannot speak to the quality of the product yet. I will say that the process was easy to follow, from sterilizing, heating and fermentation. I was missing a bottle in the order, but they took care of it expeditiously. They responded quickly to emails and were very polite. I can update this now as my first batch is complete. I added sugar free caramel syrup with the recommended sugar at bottling. I followed directions and squeezed out the air then capped the bottles. It took less than two days for the bottles to reach firmness. I then put them in the fridge and waited three days before trying. The bottle did not explode, but did release pressure like any other beer upon opening, had a nice carbonation to it and was very tasty…I’d say better than the stuff at the store.

Horrible. Missing 2 bottles and the recipe didn't even produce any alcohol even though I followed the directions as precise as possible. I tested it after 7 days with a hydrometer and it read the same gravity that it had when I started the fermentation process. I've reached out to brewdemon to fix this so until they do this review is staying at 1 star. EDIT: They have decided to help me and are trying their best to resolve my issues

Got the kit. Heads up, the Yeast pack is underneath the black lid of the hard cider mix. I didn't see it there initially, so I contacted their sales support and they responded immediately.

This was a very easy setup to use, especially as I had not tried to make hard cider before. Being able to draw off with a spigot instead of having to siphon was especially nice.

I now feel like an accomplished brewmaster!
