I have given this a two weeks to test it before writing this review. It has performed wonderfully. Provides an adequate shield against the wind coming through my mail slot. Hold a large quantity of mail. Most surprising, the velcro strips function very well to hold the pouch onto the wall, so it has not been necessary to screw in the provided hooks. It is unobtrusive. I don't have a dog any longer, but it would work well to keep a dog from biting on mail coming through the mail slot. Great value for the price.

I recently moved into a house built in 1914 that has a mail slot in the front door. It has a lot of character and I love it. What I don’t love is anyone can open the mail slot and look directly into the living room. Thus began my search for something to catch mail while also blocking anyone’s view of me chillin Winnie the Pooh style. I decided on the burgundy colored one and it has lived up to both above mentioned requirements. Bonus - it has helped keep the temperature manageable in my entryway AND helps dampen noise from outside. I took off one star because I would’ve loved a plain/solid color option but all of them have the word MAIL embroidered on them.

I have an indoor mail slot next to my front door and had been looking for a cover for it since last winter. This works perfect I've already noticed that I no longer have a draft coming into my living room. I also love that this one has Velcro so I have the option to use either the zipper or just pull it off on the corner. I highly recommend it!!!

Wasn't easy to adapt to our small mailbox, so had to return but it looked like nice material

doesn’t look too bad attached to the door, and it catches all the mail as i hoped. though, our mail carrier probably isn’t a fan— it definitely makes it a bit more challenging to slip the mail through the slot. but i’m glad i don’t have to pick up mails off the floor anymore.

I bought this for my granddaughter whose house had only a msil slot & whose cats were scattering the mail around the house. It’s nice that they didn’t have to drill holes in their antique door to install it.

This product is great for keeping my mail off the floor! Also my mail slot is old and lets cold air come in, using this has helped block that cold air!

Measure before you buy. Each letter box is different. I didn't, I sent it back with the return that Amazon offers. Good strong material, easy to install. Good quality product. Great value.

Fantastic! A reasonably-priced nice-looking alternative to a limited selection of other brands, and VERY effective! Screwing in the screws to the door was a little difficult (recommend drilling pilot holes in first), but worth it. For future users, a quick hack: to make sure there's room for mail to slide down, tilt screws down a little, and wrap duct-tape on screw between tip and door. Won't help cold air leakage in winter as much, but keeps it open nice and loose for mail to fall in. Great product, thanks!
