This is a well sold, packaged, and pure set of popular scents. I've never been keen to cologne, sprays, etc...typical guy stuff. I prefer oils for skin application and have always received compliments on my scent from different people everywhere I go. They work more off of your body heat and can be as strong or weak as you like. Having a box of 20 different scents enables me to have a different scent every day for whichever event or get-together i go to, big or small, religious or bar, family or friends. Wearing something different each day makes it so your sense of smell doesn't completely get used to one thing, causing you to unknowingly put too much on and gag everyone around you; you can keep it subtle so you enjoy it yourself, and others pick up notes instead of a wall of scent. How i use it: After a shower, use your prefered carrier oil (Mine is a pure, unscented coconut based oil) and put about half or full TEAspoon in your cupped palm. Drop 3-4 drops of whichever scent you prefer that day and use a finger to mix. Quickly spread in your hands and over your entire body. I also remove the small amount of what's on my palms to run through my wet hair. There will be no oily feeling left on your hands after a few minutes of drying/absorbing. I don't use any alcohol. If gifting, it's smart to include a small bottle of carrier oil with the gift so it can be used right away. It's not recommended to put pure essential oils as these directly on your skin without a carrier. The only thing I don't like, is something that mostly cannot be helped and cannot be blamed on manufacturer necessarily: When you first open the box, you do smell some oils from the sealed bottles. They don't leak at all, but a good seal shouldn't allow any scent to escape a fragrance. These are oils however, so scent can tend to be emitted. Store the small bottles upright, and not on their sides. Do not shake the bottles to get drops out from the bottle under-cap piece. Instead, tilt the bottle at an angle over your palm and roll it with your fingers until the drops start to slowly come out. They will not suddenly spill, and the dropper cap is very snug to a point it takes effort to remove it if you want a completely open bottle. I like the drawer style packaging and I find the price to be spot on for the high quality.

I love the variety and quality of these essential oils. Perfect for diffusers, soaps, and roll-ons for fragrance or calming effects. Great value for the number of oils you get!

* I purchased my first oil diffuser recently and did some research before I followed up with buying the actual oils themselves. Since I’m new to the essential oil game, I didn’t really know what I was doing, or what scents I would end up being able to tolerate for prolonged periods of time. I have a sensitive nose and am prone to headaches when exposed to strong scents for more than 30min or so. I have to say that this was the perfect product for me. It comes with so many different options for scents that you really get to experiment to see which ones you prefer, and what works best in your environment. Individual bottles of essential oils seem to range from $5+ so even if you end up hating some of these scents and not using them, you’re still getting a massive bang for your buck. * The bottles aren’t incredibly large, but the oils that I have used so far have been concentrated enough that I only have to use about 7-10 drops at a time. I’ve been using one particular scent fairly consistently over the last month and a half or so and the bottle is still more than 65% full. The bottles themselves obviously smell strongly, but the scent that comes out of my diffuser is always light and refreshing. * Also, I would give this product like 10 stars for the packaging alone if I could. It’s so well done that just by looking at it you would think that it costs at least twice more than it actually does. Each bottle of oil is made of glass with a plastic top. They come firmly packed in a dense foam mat within the box. The box also closes magnetically and is very sturdy, so there’s no need to find a more organized place to store these puppies. * Another plus was that this set comes with a little pamphlet that tells you what each scent is best for. Whether it’s easing anxiety, promoting good sleep, assisting with focus, etc. It also gives you some ways to combine your scents and states the benefits of each combination. Additionally, it includes suggestions for use on skin, hair, and body. * I’d definitely recommend this as a gift too. I know I’m constantly looking for things that are high quality but lower in price so that my loved ones are impressed, but my bank account can remain somewhat intact around the holiday season. At this price you could honestly get them this set of oils and a diffuser and they’ll think that you just spoiled them absolutely rotten. * Overall, I would 100% recommend this product without hesitation, because I sincerely doubt that you’ll be disappointed. I know this review is incredibly long, but I hope it at least helps someone!

Would love clarification on whether these are 100% pure or mixed with carrier oils/ fragrance oils since the pamphlet included with it states carrier oils are included but the product listing states pure essential oils. These do smell strong. The entire bag has a scent so I was worried something spilled but I think it just has a scent from the factory it smells kind of like sandalwood maybe. Each oil dropper releases the drops at different paces, some you really have to shake out and others spill right out. I love the variety in this kit. I love that this kit has the classics like lavender, lemon, tea tree, etc. but also includes fun extras like Chamomile and Jasmine. That sold me on this set. The travel case is honestly great. This is the first brand of essential oil sets that I have had come with a proper case instead of just a cardboard box. Will be keeping the case even when these run out. They are packaged snug and secure in the case so you don’t have to worry about breakage. Overall, really happy with the kit, great variety, good scents and a handy case. Just wish the purity was promised and that the droppers were more consistent. Will likely buy from this brand again.

i’ve re bought this set multiple times - i use the essential oils to make perfumes and room sprays. they smell great and the presentation when they arrive in the box is really lovely! my favorites are the rose and lavender but even the ones i don’t love i use to make cleaning sprays for my yoga mat!

I am very happy with this beautifully boxed set (see photos) of 16 essential oils (each .35 fluid ounces). The wide selection, ranging from earthy ylang ylang to the sweet orange and spicy cinnamon and clove, offers an excellent range of opportunities for mixing, matching, or going solo in a diffuser. I've tried out a couple of mixes in different rooms, and after leaving the diffuser on for a few hours, the pleasant scent remains in the laundry and bathrooms in which I've placed them. After searching for essential oils on Amazon, I was concerned that many reviewers said that bottles sent from other companies were broken or open upon arrival, or smelled odd; so I took a gamble on Lagunamoon and my choice really paid off - as the photos show, not only is the packaging gift-worthy, but the bottles are separated on the inside by snug cardboard dividers that keep the bottles safe during shipping and storing. I also really appreciate how transparent and communicative this small business is - I received a personal e-mail from them through Amazon asking if I had received their package on time and if I am happy with the product, and then a follow-up. I am pleased to say that there was never any hint of offering something in return for a good review - I would never do that, and if any company ever asks me to do that, I never buy anything again from that company. I buy therapeutic grade oils that I intend to use topically, such as frankincense and myrrh, which are a lot more expensive, but for diffusers this lovely package works very well. I also try to avoid buying products made in China, but it seems that that is hard to avoid when purchasing affordable essential oils in large quantities. In sum, I think Lagunamoon offers a great product and is a trust-worthy company - a combo harder and harder to find these days!

I've tried three sets of essential oils: Lagunamoon, Edens Garden, and Anjou. Of the three, the only one I would actually recommend is Edens Garden. However, I am much less worried about what might be in the Lagunamoon oils than I am about what might be in the Anjou oils, so I will give them three stars. Compared to Anjou oils, the Lagunamoon oils smell less chemically. This is why I'm giving them three stars. Compared to Edens Garden, the Lagunamoon oils are much less potent and much less complex. This is why I'm only giving them three stars. I don't really directly notice the difference in potency when I take a whiff directly out of the bottle. In that case, the oil do smell potent. However, when I've diluted them in a base oil for topical treatment, the difference is dramatic. After adding 10+ drops of Lagunamoon oils to avocado oil, the original scent of the avocado oil was still the dominant scent. In contrast, by the time I added four drops of Edens Garden to the avocado oil, I couldn't smell the original avocado oil at all anymore. The Lagunamoon oils also lack complexity. When I smell the Edens Garden peppermint oil, I get an herbal woody smell at the base of my knows, and after that a peppery minty smell in the middle, and after that a cooler minty smell at the top. When I smell the Lagunamoon, I only get the cooler minty smell at the top of my nose and miss all of the scents that come before that in the Edens Garden oil. Since my parents used to have a lot of peppermint in their garden, I'm very familiar with the smell of natural peppermint, and Edens Garden captures it pretty much perfectly; whereas, I would say that the Lagunamoon comes a lot closer to having a peppermint candy scent than an actual peppermint scent. Overall, these are low quality essential oils. If you're on a tight budget, I wouldn't necessarily say to avoid them since they don't seem like they don't strike me as likely to be harmful, and they do have rather pleasant scents. However, if you are wondering whether you get what you pay for and these are actually noticeably worse than slightly higher quality products the answer is most definitely yes, in this case. I'm not a snob about a lot of things. I'd rather feel like I found a great deal than feel like I bought the best possible thing on the market. My go to wine at the moment is Sutter Home Cabernet because it's cheap and good, and I don't think you really get what you pay for with Cabernet. But in this case, the difference between the cheaper product and the slightly more premium product is so dramatic that I can't consider the cheaper product the better value.

A very stupid problem with this: the tops of all 16 bottles weren't screwed on tightly. So when I opened the box there was an overpowering, confused, sweet smell of multiple scents. Individually most are pleasant, all together and at such high concentration, the effect is disgusting. I opened all the windows, threw out the box, tightened the tops on all the bottles and put each one in a separate ziplock bag. Now I might be able to use them. But first I just need fresh air <choking>. To the manufacturer: you may have a good product here. For goodness sake screw the tops on properly!

For the price this is a nice little set of oils. I got the luganmoon 12 pack. My youngest absolutely loves them since I got a 2 pack diffuser.

It’s a good collection, still need to try more.
