It was worth much more than the price and was absolutely worth the wait! Vera Nazarian's carefully and lovingly crafted continuing story of Gwen Lark, her family and friends, and their new lives on the planet Atlantis is a page turner from start to finish. This is probably the most complex of the books, but it is as meticulously developed as the first two, QUALIFY and COMPETE. Miss Nazarian's imaginative universe, peopled with diverse and well-developed characters, drew me in so completely, that I wasn't sure I would find my way back to Kansas from Atlantis when I finished reading. The characters continue to live on in my head, and their stories continue in my imagination. I ordered the Kindle edition of the book so that I could read it immediately, but it is definitely one I will order in print editions as well.Written for the Young Adult genre, the book (and series) has strong appeal for a wide variety of ages. As a grandmother, I find the book as appealing now as I would have at age 15. I am not a science geek or nerd, but this science fiction series is first and foremost a story which is being beautifully told. If you have not jumped into the world of TAG (The Atlantis Grail), do yourself a favor and do so at your earliest opportunity. I highly recommend this book to young and old, students of science or not. You won't be sorry. Now I'm settling in for the wait for SURVIVE. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Could not put the book down!! *by L***B on Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2017* Alright, I don't usually write reviews, and I don't feel I need to summarize the story, because you can find that elsewhere, however I enjoyed this book series so much I feel I should break down and write a review. I rarely find a book that is so engaging that I literally can't put it down, this novel (the whole series really) is such a book. Vera Nazarian has put together a group of interesting characters which she has developed throughout The Atlantis Grail series. While this series started with a "Hunger Games" / "Insurgent/Divergent" feel, it quickly moved on to its own story told from a first person view from the main heroine Gwen Lark.The Pros and Cons as I see this book (the whole series really).Pros:*The author allows her various main characters to grow and develop in maturity (after all the main character Gwen is only 16 when she is introduced in the first novel). I am not a fan of characters who act stupid throughout the whole book or who have little to no redeeming qualities of character and become stagnant.*The author completes the main story line focus in each book and does not break it down into smaller incomplete sections that leave it hanging in order to string along the reader.*The author writes with great skill. I found the dialog was not stilted or bare bones. I was easily carried away by the story so that I became involved with the story playing out in my mind instead of just reading the words on the page. (Again, a rarity in the book world)Cons:*Okay, I am not a fan of teen heroines and heroes in general, and they tend to speak and think in juvenile terms in order to keep the reality of their age group, however I was still able to get past the "OMG" and other usual teen angst reactions to situations presented in the story. I did appreciate that the author keep out the cuss words in the dialog.*Couldn't put the book down! lol*Now I have to WAIT for the last book in the series to come out... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Finally!! *by S***H on Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2017* Finally this book is out! It feels like forever since I finished Compete and have waiting for the continuation of the story! Win is the third book in the Atlantis Holy Grail series. If you are looking for a well written dystopian book series, and liked the Hunger Games series, this is a good one to read. You can read this as a standalone book but I would not recommend it. You really need to read the books in order. Win begins where Compete ended and it ends in a cliffhanger for the next book. There is a lot of violence.The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat all of that info here. The author has done a good job of describing The world and people of Atlantida (the new Atlantis). The characters are multidimensional and well written, even if you don't like them (such as the Archaeon Imperator). The world the author has created and vivid, and makes it easy to picture in your mind. As usual, everything and everyone are not as they seem.While this is a long book, at over 900 pages, you get so caught up in the story and don't want it to end.
