Jurassic Park

This story of a mega-successful movie has been seen by most, so I won't describe this, but what puts this Blu-ray rendering above the superior standard of most is the sharpness of the images, wide palette colours and with superb sound. My Toshiba is an older (2013) 32", and I have a 2.1 audio, but this movie is THE best quality. And I have over 155 disks in my library. It looks brilliant, even on my bog-standard telly. It is the best technical-quality movie I have ever seen. The only other superior transformations of this level of quality are the movies 'Gravity' on DVD and 'Titanic' on Blu-ray. And 'Jaws' on DVD. My Sony Blu-ray does a great job of upscaling DVDs. I bought 'Gravity' on Blu-ray and I could not see any difference between the DVD and Blu-ray disks. If you watch the streamed version of this movie, it is noticeably grainy at times. Something is overly compressing the video file to send it across the internet.

1993, the movie 'Jurassic Park' was the talk of the town including everywhere in the world. For many who had seen it the first time were in awe, jaw dropping and the anticipation had finally met everyone's excitement wondering how dinosaurs came alive! It was so realistic and seamless that the movie was a sensation. Directed by Steven Spielberg, adapted from the book by Michael Crichton and written for the screenplay also by Michael himself together with David Koepp, in the end a final draft by David himself. VFX, visual effects were created with groundbreaking CGI, computer generated imaginery by ILM, Industrial Light & Magic, in which David Murren, effects supervisor at ILM oversaw the visual effects in the movie. Animatronics dinosaurs, life size dinosaurs were also created and built by Stan Winston & his team. Eventually won an academy award for BEST VISUAL EFFECTS. DTS, Digital Surround Sound was created for this movie, which won 2 academy awards for BEST SOUND and BEST SOUND EDITING. Dinosaur roared and its calling were masterfully created by the Sound Effects team. Music Score by John Williams, has created many phenomenal memorable themes in Steven Spielberg's movies, John Williams brought an inspiring score that captured the beauty and horror at the same time of the dinosaurs! Production Design by Rick Carter created the main building with the exterior that looks like a temple and its interior that would feel like a dinosaur theme park, dinosaur skeleton hanging from the ceiling that tracked along a spiral staircase and also murals on the walls. A cast of actors that performed well to create the warmth, tension, suspense and excitement which include Sam Niel, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Sir Richard Attenborough and child actors Joseph Mazzello and his older sister in the movie, Ariana Richards. The Main Dinosaur Star was the T.Rex, horrifying beast with small hands, large strong jaws and the stumping sound that was really awesomely frightening. Velociraptors which played a major role in creating terror and havoc, chasing and tearing anyone in sight were well crafted. Steven Spielberg, masterfully directed this movie, which I considered the BEST in the series, a classic sensational masterpiece as Dinosaurs came alive seamlessly for the first time in 1993. Jurassic Park 4K UHD delivers crisp pictures and experiencing DTS Surround Sound that brings the Live Action of the Roars in front of you! Dinosaurs will be in extinction once again after 'Jurassic World Rebirth' as it would be drawn to a conclusion to the series of Jurassic World!
