6mm Cotton Macrame Cord/Bulk Knotting Rope

This cord is absolutely perfect! I'm macraming a backdrop for my wedding, it's easy to work with, soft and is shaping up to be exactly what I was looking for! Will absolutely buy again

As someone who makes large macrame pieces for weddings and events, I have worked with many different brands of cord. This 6mm is barely 6mm and is just the worse to work with. I never leave reviews on anything but had to in this, that’s how bad this is. The price was good, quality is horrible. Comes unraveled on intricate knots. Looks messy. I’d rather pay more instead of using this.

I love this rope. I loved this thickness because it works up quickly. And even being reworked a few times didn't cause the threads to look weird or pulled at.

I bought this for a macrame wall hanging and it performed OK. It seems like in order to meet the 6mm diameter, rather than simply twist in more cotton fibers they took the same amount used for 4mm and twisted the rope more loosely. It looks fine in the project but while I was knotting I often found that fibers would cinch out of the cord. I attributed this to the loose character of the rope. All in all it got the job done but I will shop elsewhere for cord above 4mm diameter.

Sturdy
