My granddaughter loves to put these things together. I just wish it would take her a little longer. We've developed a way of working that lets us both participate. Each time we open a new bag of parts we spend time laying them all out, organized by color, and similarly shaped pieces next to each other. We call it "organizing the yard" as you would for a crane lifting pieces for a building construction. Then she assembles them. I'm allowed to put the clear pieces into the window frames. She let's me do that to keep the Old Man happy.

This was a birthday gift and it turned out to be the perfect gift! It went to a seven yr old girl who became deeply engaged with the whole process. She has over Lego projects that she has completed but this one was a bit more complicated and she enjoyed the challenge . I see more of these in her future. So for me, it was rewarding to have selected a Lego set that gave her fun, a little challenge and lots of enjoyment seeing her efforts and time turn into the finished project. While some 'Friends' sets are just more people with a few random trinkets, this set stands apart as it is a joy to play with for hours on end. It is obviously well thought out and my daughter (who owns a few dozen similar sets) spends a lot of time enjoying the art school.

I bought this for my 10 yr. Old granddaughter who loves a variety of art media. She loved this kit. However, as with nearly all LEGO kits, it is far over priced.

I bought this for my 11 year old who loves legos. She is currently building it. It is a challenge but definitely doable on her own. She loves how it looks and it's only half built so far!
