I had to cut 1/8" aircraft cable to make 8 chokers. I priced a locally available tool for over $44. This tool cut just as easily and made a Clean cut that was easily inserted into the aluminum crimp connectors. Super product & I am Very happy with it!

it is a best tool to cut metal strands, im cuting 20 times per day and it works for years already, brought again for my coworkers they’re happy with it.

Works, but really annoying to use. Just get a grinder for cutting metal.It requires A LOT of force to cut 0.2" thick copper. You need to use your foot to get enough force, and then it's hard to balance.Just stick with lesser shears that are longer for cutting thin sheet metal, and a grinder for cutting metal that is around 0.2" thick or thicker.

Cuts 1/8" wire rope with no issues. Nice clean cuts, sharp. Spring open seems solid. Good grip feel. Basic but functional lock.Will it last through hundreds of cuts, probably not.I'm pleased for the price.

The quality seems a little questionable, but probably appropriate for the price. Haven't had any problems yet but they don't feel very sturdy. Time will tell how well the cutting edge holds up.

These wire rope cutters have been an excellent addition to my workshop. They are well made, the blades are sharp and I like the soft grip handles, which help to seat them comfortably in your hand.
