Filter Element 100GPD-ROPOT-3rd Reverse Osmosis System Countertop Replacement

I bought a KFlow R.O.Pot a few years ago and have been searching for replacement filters since. These are the only filters on sale it seems so are a Godsend! The previous filters have been in the machine for over 5 years but still seemed to work OK, giving me a reading of 16ppm as compared to over 150ppm for tap water. After finding that one of the new filters wasn't working (the last one so not so important) I had to use the old one, but still the water quality went down to a mere 3ppm. The seller has offered a discount for the non working filter so all is good.

I own an Bluevua water pitcher/ RO unit. I use these replacement filters a lot. I replace all but the RO membrane every six months. I have designed many water filtration systems and developed water filtration media that is used inside filter cartridges. You want to replace the cartridges every 6-9 months because bacteria coats the surface area and reduces efficiency. Yes, even chlorinated water will allow the growth of bacteria inside your water filter. The bacteria are not harmful. They simply clog the filter and slow the flow and prevent the activated carbon from removing dissolved organics from the water. Sure, you could leve the filters go for a year. The 1-year claim is for chlorine removal. Chlorine is not captured inside the carbon. Chlorine reacts with the surface of the carbon, which neutralizes the chlorine disinfectant. It can last a year or longer in this function but you are not getting the chemical removal efficiency. Taste and odor-causing substances are not being removed. PFAS, pharmaceuticals, etc. are not being removed as efficiently. Enough lecturing. This cartridge works well with the Bluevua RO unit. The twist mount is not unique to this brand but the fit is good and I don't normally have to re-seat a new cartridge to fix a slow drip.

I ordered these replacement filters after I'd had my ropot for a little over a year. They were very easy to install, and it was easy to reset them as well, to begin using my row pot again. I'm impressed with how long these filters last. Using it daily, the filters lasted 14 months! Though they seem expensive, it saves me so much in the long run, as I used to buy plastic water bottles constantly, thinking they were a better choice than tap water. Another reason I love these filters so much is that my water tastes so much cleaner. They work wonderfully, efficiently, and are worth every penny. The directions are very easy to follow, so do not be intimidated by replacing these in your ropot. I highly recommend purchasing these ropot filters!
