After recently getting bleached highlights to tone in with my grey, I purchased these straighteners. I previously used gold GHD’s. My hairdresser informed me that I needed to buy heat adjustable straighteners as ghds heat to 240c and that intense heat burns your hair. I have smelled burning while using ghds. The recommended heat is 180c. I purchased these straighteners as they are heat adjustable and have 4 different settings. The cord is thick and very long. They are good straighteners but it’s going to take me time to get used to a lower setting. But no more smell of burning. I recommend these for anyone with bleached highlights or all over bleach coverage.
