I would have liked this to weigh a little bit more. It feels a little light in the hand but it works dough so very well! Make sure you have a very large counter top to roll this pin on - It requires tons of space with its large size.

The rolling pin I received is much lighter in color from the one shown in the ad, but I am not disappointed in the quality of the wood, the inlaid pattern or color. I am sure I will enjoy using this beautiful tool for years to come.

This rolling pin is quite lovely and although I haven't gotten to actually use it yet, I'm sure it's going to be a good one.
