A few months ago, I picked up a few serious studio quality lights. I then ordered a similar light at a much lower price point from one of the big name brands in content creation. It was head and shoulders the best of the bunch at half of the price. This light from AMBITFUL has similar specs at a similar price, with nearly identical performance and more features. That's a winner in my book.This is a big light, but for the performance it delivers it seems like it should be bigger. Nothing fancy here--just a versatile light with a wide range of brightness and color temperature adjustments. You can adjust everything with precision from the LED screen on the back of the light or from a remote control. I tested it with both methods and they work equally well. Multiple mounting options (eg: horizontal or vertical) give you even more options and it is a perfect companion to most softboxes.The light performance is great, but the most impressive thing might be how easy they make it. When you first look at this light you think it must weigh a ton, but it weighs just a bit over two pounds. That makes it one of the...uh....'lighter' lights of this type. It's very easy to move from place to place in the studio and while you might be able to find a more portable option on the go the size and weight of this definitely makes it an option. The heat dissipation is amazing--there's a built in fan that is extremely silent yet keeps everything nice and cool.This a quality product that delivers a lot of lighting performance at an extremely reasonable price point. It even has a perfectly designed case to fit everything in. Until I see otherwise, this might be the best ratio of price to performance for this type of light. Highly recommended!

I have a couple of this company‘s lights. This one is smaller and more compact. It’s limited to a single color temperature ( it has some weird hair nets that you put over the reflector. Sure they can change the color but I would never be caught in public using these) but it puts out a bright hundred watts of light.The unit for all the heat it puts out has decent thermal management due to a user adjustable fan. And it has a side mounted gimbal bracket that I like better than the normal bottom mounts. It gives you a little better range of movement for light placement.This unit allows for app control but I appreciate all of the controls being on the back of the unit. It’s simple power and brightness because it’s not a complicated lamp. Unlike many of my other lights the actual diode is round rather than square, I’m not sure how that changes anything but the company claims that it’s more efficient. By the time it goes through light modifiers I can’t really tell any difference. Still they really make a point about it.I do appreciate the simple operation of this light. It has some FX modes but only five of them and they’re quite simple. Most of my other lights have anywhere between 20 and 36 to effects modes though I hardly use any of them. The lightning and fires ones occasionally , and the television one on RGB lights can be compelling. Television is not a natural phenomenon and so it’s effect is more convincing.The light accepts standard Bowens mounts so if you have modifiers and soft boxes they will work well with this. It also comes with a reflector and a few clamps. And those hairnet things. But it all fits in a nice padded case to make transport easy.All in all it is a decent beginner light at a fair price that people starting out in video can make good use of. More experienced users can I wont use this as an effect light or mood light . The lack of color temperature adjustment may be a dealbreaker for some. But if you’re using this as an effect light anyway are using some modifiers it will make make less of a difference.

The AMBITFUL Aurora EF100 100W 5600K COB LED Vidoe Light ，CRI 95+, TLCI 95+, Built-in 5-FX Effects Lux 35500（Standard Reflective） Support APP Control with Carry Bag: This is a 100W COB light, daylight balanced at 5600K with a CRI and TLCI or over 95+. It comes with a storage bag, a 6" honeycomb parabolic reflector, cable stand lock, and several colored diffusion socks. It's quite bright at 100W with the reflector, and seems to use it's power efficiently. As with all LED based light fixtures, fall off is fast, and distance effects brightness greatly. The fixture is made of all metal and seems to have very adequate, yet quiet cooling. The color temperature is fixed at 5600k, and is within accuracy tolerances, matching other brands. The app offers brightness control as well as access to the special fx. Both can also be accessed from the back of the fixture as well. It has an all metal, and solid feeling stand adapter. The colored socks are not precisely color accurate, but are a nice touch and can be useful. The pure white sock is a huge boon, works awesome as white diffusion around 1 stop, and it effectively softens and spreads the light. The colored socks do the same in their different colors, but are not perfectly color accurate or predictable. However they definitely have their creative uses. Better to pick up a Rosco or LEE filter pack that have a known color correction value. Overall this is a well made light, made from good materials and does it's job well. 100W is not as bright as big pro lights, however this is a super useful tool that absolutely has it's place. Being able to control the dimmer through an app is an added bonus, and the Bowens accessory mount is super useful. Overall this is a great light, very bright for it's size, well built, with a nice case, and a decent app to help control it. Any photographer or videographer will find many, many uses for this fixture. Love the light quality and the accessories, as well as it's versatility, and light modifier compatibility.

La luce in sé è abbastanza potente, peccato che non è omogenea ma si nota molto che al centro emana più luce e ai lati va a perdere (usando la sua parabola).Consiglio se cercate una luce economica, potente ma da utilizzare in diffusa con un softbox o di rimbalzo.(L’applicazione sul telefono funziona bene)

Avevo bisogno di un faretto e grazie al programma Vine ho potuto testare questo prodotto di Ambitful.La dotazione del faretto è completa di tutto quello che può servire per metterlo in opera, manca solo il piedistallo che acquistato separatamente nel caso in cui non lo si abbia.Molto comoda la borsa morbida in dotazione che permette di riporre tutti gli accessori ordinatamente e portarsi l’intero kit dove serve.Il faretto ha una buona fattura e sembra molto robusto, è dotato di numerose prese d’aria e di una ventola per il raffreddamento, la cui velocità è regolabile (rimane abbastanza silenziosa durante il normale utilizzo). Tramite il pannello di controllo lcd posto sul retro è possibile regolare l’intensità della luce emessa e la modalità di funzionamento (si può cambiare il tipo di lampeggio).Gli accessori in dotazione (riflettore e i diffusori colorati) permettono di adattare la luce a qualsiasi condizione. Un grande plus è la possibilità di collegare il faretto al telefono via bluetooth in modo da poterne regolare la luminosità da remoto. Volendo si possono utilizzare altri tipi di softbox in quanto l’attacco è standard e quindi c’è ampia vastità di scelta tra gli accessori.Purtroppo la temperatura colore non è regolabile, ma a questo prezzo non si può considerare un difetto perché è una caratteristica che hanno faretti dal costo più elevato.Non sono un professionista, ma per il mio uso hobbystico mi posso ritenere pienamente soddisfatto del prodotto e della sua dotazione, quindi penso che abbia un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
