Cup came in a sealed, undamaged package. However the front of the cup was chipped. It was a gift and no time to exchange so the person ended up with a damaged cup. Very disappointed

I gave this as a Christmas gift without carefully checking the inside surface of the cup. The cup has three small pitted areas, as seen in the attached picture. (The outside of the cup looks good.) It's not a huge problem, but the marks are noticeable any look like tiny tea stains from a distance. But they are actually tiny pits (open bubbles) in the ceramic that you can feel with your fingernail.
