CoverGirlClump Crusher Mascara, Brown 815, 0.44 Ounce

This is the only high-quality brown mascara option I could find, and I'm pretty happy with it. The color is a nice brown, not red like some people have reported having trouble with in other brown mascaras. The formula is aptly named, as I haven't seen a single clump yet, and it goes on very smoothly and easily, without sticking my lashes together. I'm coming from the Wet N Wild mega length formula which is by far my favorite for how long it makes my short lahes, but as they only make it in Very Black, this works instead. I've tried using that wand in this formula and that works, but obviously more of a pain. This seems waterproof, but is also very easy to remove with a cotton round and eye makeup remover. I haven't noticed any smudging. Overall, I wish this brand had more formulas in a brown color, especially for how pricy it is, but I'm pretty happy with this. It's definitely not as startling and unnatural looking on me, a natural blonde, as a very black color.

I have used this for several years in the brown black. Stays on well, doesn't clump and washes off easily with make up remover. One of my favorite products to use.

I hardly ever wear mascara anymore, but when I do, it seems all brands I have tried go on thick and clumpy and are just messy. Big brushes that hold way too much. I had given up hope on a good correct brush and formulation. The second I pulled the nice thin nylon brush out and saw it NOT clotted with gunk (that I usually try to scrape off, not successfully) I was hopeful.It applied very easily and not too heavy, with ZERO clumping or mess. You take a little longer to go over them again, and the lower lashes, but not a single clump or mess was encountered!Highly recommend this product, especially if you aren't looking for "lengthening and thickening," but just want good color and no clumping. It covers very well but still looks natural
