ForedomK.2230 Classic Jewelers Kit with H.30 Handpiece, 115v

My hobby is putting handles on knife blanks and up until I got this I’d been using a Dremel tool. This is much better as it has more power and the wand is easier to use. I can now use larger diameter bits with tool. The variable speed pedal is super nice and very easy to use. Anyone need a slightly used Dremel?

If you like doing detail work of any sort, then this is the tool to have. This is a professional grade flex shaft tool and you will not regret the purchase price. The foot control combined with the high torque motor make this tool a joy to operate. I initially was doubtful of the hand piece, as it looks to big and clunky. But in use, it actually is perfect. The extra weight of the hand piece helps you control the bit and keep it where you want it. Sorry dremel, our time together is over.

You get what you pay for and boy does this deliver.

The media could not be loaded. It overheated and the cord melted the first use. I’m extremely disappointed in this product.

I have been waiting to get one of these because of the initial cost. But I finally did and I couldnt be happier. It does everything my micromotor did but can also do heavier duty tasks, requiring more torque. The one gripe I have is it isnt the best motor to work with my hammer attachment. That requires a motor that has more torque but only goes 5,000 rpms where this one goes to 18,000 I think. But I never knew how many things would be easier because of it, in jewelry work and fabrication work too. I would suggest getting the quick switch hand piece, as well as the standard. I think it would be a lot quicker but I think the quick change handpiece only takes certain shank sizes where the standard one can take several. But I am not positive on that. Overall AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!

Iv been metal engraving for years and use dremel flex shaft. Decide to try the foredom and spent the money. Well other than the foredom rotates forwards and backwards there are zero benefits and especially for what it costs. The power was the same as dremel flex shaft. So its a nice piece of equipment but def not worth the $350 price difference

I looked at these and considered buying from a jewelry supply company, but the free shipping through prime tipped the scales in favor of purchasing here. Love everything about it.

This foredom tool is a beast and is great for wood working & carving. Recommend building or buying a stand for the tool. The tool has lots of power and there are lots of attachments available for whatever project you have.
