These mirrors turned out great and look awesome on our Jeep.

These look nice and have a level of clean design above the regular doors off tubular mirrors that are available. However, they aren't without a couple issues. The backside of the mirror mount is foam padded to provide a level of scratch resistance on the paint. You need to remove two of the factory Torx bolts and replace them with the provided Allen head bolts. My kit included oversized flat washers that I did not see a reason for. The holes in the mirror would not accept the flat washers and so I used the bolts alone. The mount does sit tightly and tools are provided to adjust the tightness of the mirror head, the rotation and other adjustments; a total of three Allen wrenches are provided but not for the primary bolts that hold it on the Jeep. Further, life would have been easier had they sourced Torx bolts that match the existing OEM hardware and for which a tool is provided by Jeep. The mirror head rotates for a vertical or horizontal orientation. If kept not quite tight, they would likely survive an impact on the trail from branches. All in all there are things to make this better but they're fairly close to right.
