Full of Sound and Fury (Souls of the Saintlands)

We know what to expect from just about everyone, so nothing new on the characters. We've finally settled in to a few less surprises from our friends, which is bound to happen once you've spent time getting to know someone, and the focus is definitely more about moving the story along. And move it does!The curtain is pulled back on the pantheons. We're getting A LOT more of the spiritual story than some might be comfortable with, but if people didn't see that writing on the wall by now, they haven't been paying attention. I like that it's ALL of them addressed pretty fairly, not just one or the other. And we're starting to see that no one belief is necessarily right or wrong (they're all right AND wrong); they all have their nuances and have been part of the story the entire time. I'm happy to finally see them more prominent.The wasn't the rip roaring page turner that the previous books have been. I was able to sleep at night reading this one, but make no mistake: the blazing fire has only transformed into an intense smolder. The honeymoon is over, the but the relationship is only just getting started!Bring on book 6!!

I have never felt such strong emotions from reading a book. I was immersed in this book so much so, that when a certain spoiler happens, I threw my book across the room and cried into my pillow.After book shaming this title for awhile, I had to know how this book was going to end.Warning! The ending leaves you craving the next book, and sobbing into your pillow. People who buy this book should invest in some tissues as well.All in all, I'm excited to see where all of the relationships are heading, especially Myrgen and Catriona. I want them to be together, but after seeing that the author doesn't rule out ANYTHING from happening, I'm on edge hoping and wondering what fate will allow.

I am already reading it for the 2nd time. I love this book. Tonya Adolfson has done it again, another great book in the series. It starts with where the last book left off so that you are right back into the suspense of it all. She will hold you spell bound by what happens next and, by the end of this book, you will be wanting the next to keep the suspense going. Just when you think you know what will happen next, she throws you a curve and you keep reading to see what will happen. I love her books and can't wait for the next one to come out. I don't care how long it takes her to write it, I want to continue living in this series. What a great place to immerse yourself in. Thank you Tonya. Please keep writing this series.
