Great for gaming
Very easy to set up. Comes out of the box smoothly. You would not have any problems with flickering or dead pixels.Mainly use it for & it looks great. All the ps5 titles look good. It has so many good functions for all kinds of games. You get what you pay for. You get your money's worth. Premium price for a premium monitor.

Outstanding monitor
STANDBY ISSUE: There are many people complaining that this monitor fails to come out of standby when connected to a computer. The root cause is a bug in the monitor firmware when dealing with Windows power management. To avoid this problem, go into Windows control panel and select Power Options. Do the Change Plan Settings and then configure the "Turn off the display" to "Never". When Windows turns off the display, the Sony M9 somehow glitches and is not able to come out of standby unless you unplug the DC power cable from behind the monitor to "reset" the monitor. You can still set the Windows screen saver to blank the screen after so many minutes. The image is excellent when turning on HDR in Windows. The brightness levels on this monitor are amazing. You just have to go into Windows Display Settings and into "Windows HD Color settings" and turn down the "HDR/SDR brightness balance" somewhat for handling white sections of the screen and youtube videos.Setting Local Dimming to High when using Windows HDR presents an excellent result. The FALD backlight sections will actually turn down so that medium brightness pixels and colors show up much more real and without that typical LCD backlight washout effect.

Perfect fit for gaming and movies
Absolutely love gaming on this monitor! From the first moment I set it up, I was able to see the brightness and color difference even before I started gaming on it.Set-up was very simple and took me about 5-8 minutes to get it put together on my desk. doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk and and I can adjust up and down as well as tilt the monitor for perfect viewing angles.Gaming - very smooth motion and that 1ms response time is noticeable in everything. Much easier on the eyes and makes it more comfortable during extended gameplay. My main game I play (Starcraft) does not support 144hz and are only 60hz but even on 60hz it definitely outperformed my previous gaming monitor I had. I picked up Forza Motorsport 7 to check out how 144hz is and just WOW! Amazing and cant wait to try out more games that do that. Was so impressed I moved my PS5 into this room and will game on this from now on rather than my TV.Viewing - I like to use my PC for watching Movies/Sports from time to time (when my kids are taking over the living room TV) and it looked soooooo good! The HDR600 and Full Array Local Dimming really comes out and shows its power. The brightness and colors that this monitor gives rivals anything i've experienced.Would absolutely recommend this monitor!!

Miserable quality control - don't waste your money
My first Inzone M9 was purchased from amazon and arrived promptly in an undamaged box. It was easy enough to set up, ignoring the fact that these monitors don't come with cables - I already had cables, so that's fine. The monitor has custom software that lets you manage all its settings from your PC, which is awesome, but that isn't terribly important. Installing firmware updates for this monitor is kind of a pain, but the good news is that doesn't matter much, because you shouldn't buy one.The first M9 I bought had distracting backlight problems - basically dirt or scratches *inside* the monitor that were present from the moment I first powered it on. Not the dead pixels you may be used to. Unfortunately they were close to the middle of the screen, which made them an active nuisance for image editing and other use cases. So a return was issued and I bought a new one.The second one, also from Amazon, arrived. The box had already been opened once - from the bottom for some reason - but when I took the monitor out I didn't see any damage. Unfortunately, the moment I powered it on, it became obvious that I had an even worse monitor than the first time - a massive bright purple splotch, visible the moment you power the screen on, either damage to the panel or the backlight. If you look around you can find other complaints about this problem with the M9.So, take it from me: Sony's quality control for the M9 is miserable. They don't properly check these things for damage or defects before shipping them out, so you shouldn't buy one. As a bonus, their warranty is written such that you would need a massive number of pixel failures before they would consider repairing your screen under warranty, so you can't trust 'em to take care of you if it develops issues later. It's a shame. The HDR was kinda nice.

Purchased 2 of these. Returned both. Needs OLED!
This is a follow-up to my initial glowing review. After spending some time with it, reality set it. If you’re looking for a DP/usb-c compatible 4K@120+ display that’s under 42”, this is pretty much you’re only option right now. However, let’s talk about the negatives:- At first I thought I was unique and had received a perfect unit. But after a few days, there it was. A dead pixel 😢- HDR is laughable. Like most non-OLED displays, HDR mode is washed out, dim, and does nothing but warm up every color- Terrible viewing angles and dimmed cornersPositives:- Excellent design- Perfect screen size- Good brightness in SDR- Nice menu and gaming featuresBiggest issue. No OLED option! Please for the love Sony, release this same display with an OLED panel. Please!!! Literally no one on the market is making a an OLED 4K@120+ panel under 42” for desktopEnded up purchasing a 42” Sony OLED A90K which has an astounding picture but it’s heavy, not as cool looking, and too big for a standard desk. Also, no DP/usb-c support 😞. But for now, this and the LG C2 are all we have. So please please please Sony, release an OLED option for the M9 and you will have the perfect display for work and gaming
