Would be better if numbers had a protective coating on them

I do like this so far when working with smaller projects or pieces. This is fairly sturdy as long as you treat it well. Being metric has not bothered me much as I have not been using so much as for measurements but for marking angles to cut. I have also used the holes to transfer a line to use for alignment by picking the correct hole, holding my marking tool & then sliding the length of the backing.Unlike an adjustable or smaller speedy square, this can take up a little room due to its design, but I do like the way this is build & is square between the 2 pieces.

This square is indeed metric as others have stated. It is a good quality. At the same time, my husband, who has done a lot of woodworking, would have liked to have had instructions with it. He also looked to youtube and internet to learn how to use this.It would be nice if the company would provide clear instructions and even a link to their own product videos to learn how to use this tool.

I am a huge woodworking person, so always happy to try out new tools and better than they are unique. This made pretty well. Not the highest quality, but they did good. Nice that it serves so many different functions. Lettering is easy to read.I picked this up because it is in metric. I am working on switching over because there are many advantages. Although, I really don't understand how others have marked it down for being metric, it says it right in the product description and it shows it in the pictures. Not fair to knock something for being what it is suppose to be.Would have been nice to have instructions, or even a thanks for buying, something or anything, but sadly that is too much to ask for with so many products these days. I would also like to know where this is made, I could not see anywhere it says, thought that had to be disclosed? Guessing it is made in china?Overall, well made enough for what it is, price is good, would recommend.

I ordered this for my husband who does a lot of woodworking and construction. I mainly ordered it for the angle transfer when dealing with lumber. I honestly didn't catch it was metric only. He was less enthused than expected when he looked at it, and we had to look at some YouTube videos to enlighten ourselves on its various uses. I honestly don't think he will use it much, but I think for that one time you need it, it will be great. Edges are a bit sharp.

great tool, great price point...if u are into ww, u prob. see these in RED from WPeckers...this is very similarbut at 1/5th the price point...although there is many uses for these, as seen in the descritpionfor me, the most valuable feature is the saddle features, the ability to transfer lines from the top to the side accurately is sooo easy with this tool...the 45 is true..at this price point, hard to go wrong... 4.5 stars, recommended!

This is a very handy tool for wood and metal workers. It offers multiple angles in a flash. What I don’t like is the chalk board texture used on this tool, it makes the hair stand up on the back on my neck. Please just use a standard Black anodized finish.

I had purchased something similar to this carpenter square in the past and was disappointed by its thinness and flimsiness. That was from a different company and I hoped that the industry might have learned over the years. I unpacked this square and was pleasantly surprised by the solidity of the piece. No flimsy piece her. This square is thick aluminum with a brushed finish to it. It is accurate and solid. When you need this style of square, you will appreciate this tool for what it is, a solidly made tool that is built to last.
