Great wood splitter
Creates even wood splits of many different types of wood. Works well with 3lb sledge hammer.

Built well. Does come in handy. Wish it was a little taller though

I was on the fence until I used it.
A small tap from the sledgehammer and it stuck onto the splitting blade and then a love tap and presto you have kindling. No big deal to use. Cracked enough kindling in 15 minutes that would last me a month.

Holds firewood firmly in place for splitting with a wedge.
The flashing was nicely painted on the blade's edge. Easy removal from box since the bottom of the box was almost completely severed by the ring that had no packing around it. Once the log is seated in place it is very easy to split with a wedge. Very nice holder.
