My star rating - averaged between Durability (1 star) and Versatility (3 stars).I purchased this device on Nov 21, 2017 - so I've had it a little over a year.Pros - It is small, lightweight & versatile (various different ports). Definitely useful during travel (when functional).Cons - USB devices connected to it have stopped enumerating on the computer (i.e. the computer doesn't see the device). The plugged in device gets power (from USB), but is unable to talk to the computer.Tolerance analysis on the USB-C connector end seems off - often loose in the computer's USB-C port.Unsure if there is also a chipset issue (since enumeration has been getting worse gradually over the past few months).Finally, unlike other products on Amazon : the warranty = contact [email protected]. That's it.I've emailed this address, but haven't heard anything back - I'm a little concerned I won't be hearing back.I'm fine with a refund ; I'm even ok with a swap (I can mail this unit back to get another) - still waiting for a response...

Extremely excited to have this little piece in my camera gear! It's perfect for transferring photos from my S8 Plus to and from the memory cards. I also use it to view photos from my phone to the HDMI output to a monitor I have in the studio. Overall it's an excellent product! Does exactly what it describes and is so versatile!

I’m so glad a friend recommended this product to me. I have a camera that uses a SD card. The off-brand go-pro uses a microSD card. I’ve always had to attach both cards to this usb reader and then attach that reader to the laptop. I guess with frequent use, the USB reader would sometime corrupt the files. With this USB C HUB, it saves me the trouble of having to find extra gadgets to serve as the middleman. So happy I purchased it bc it’s an all-in-one device!

Built quality is very good but I find big issues at least for Me, when You connect apple original dvd rom You get this message :USB Accessory Needs Power Connect "Apple USB SuperDrive" to a USB port on this Mac,which is impossible because it does not have one !Check pic

I have been using this product for several days. Very solid product. I love the aluminium alloy design and the grey color which gives a great match with my new MBP. The indentation of the wire makes the hub very portable, but one downside is the wire is too short for me to make adjust. I put may MBP on a rain design laptop stand. Because of the type-C wire is too short, I have to hang the hub on the air.

This USB-C expander works great. I plugged it into my laptop and was able to use all the ports. I tested the display output over HDMI without issue. The US 3.0 ports worked great with my 3.0 flash drive. I also plugged in an old SDHC card and was able to see it. All in all a great little compact Type C hub.

I find myself using this a lot less than I anticipated, but I really like the amount of items it offers and it works fine to this day (after one year). I recommend it.

Had this less than a year, adapter stopped working with HDMI connected screen went back to an old adapter and the screen works fine
