So far so good
This treadmill is exactly what we expected for the price - it is a medium-sized walking and running treadmill with 10 program options and up to 8 miles per hour possibility to run. It will take me a long time to get there. So far I have been doing 4 miles/hour power walks and jogs and they were good workouts. It was not hard to put together either, but don't ask my husband :D (he always complains when he has to put together things). Overall, I recommend it so far.

Easy to assemble
Pro: Easy to assemble, user friendly and compact.Con: The belts position where it molds together is slippery. So when you are using it and step on that spot you feel like you will lose your footing. That conflict is bad enough to outway the pros therefore justifying my 2 star rating.

Worst treadmill EVER
Worst treadmill in the history of the world - ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY! Treadmill will just stop working and completely shut down in the middle of a run - which can be dangerous and scary. Even after using a surge protector it continues to do this.If I could give this a 0, I would. It’s legit terrifying.

Great for the casual runner/walker
First I have to say that this item is heavy and you're going to need help getting it in your house and putting it where it needs to go. Together with my husband we managed to get it into the basement where we set it up. I have to say that set up was fairly easy and the directions were very easy to understand. All the parts were included and nothing was missing.Once set up I decided to give it a go. The controls are pretty basic and I would say that this is great for the casual runner/walker, nothing high tech like you would find at the gym. It's great for the days you would prefer to stay at home and not leave, rainy/snow days etc. If you're big time into running, then I would say go else where. The display was easy to read whether it was at night or during the day. While this comes with shock absorbers, there isn't much protection and wish it was a bit better. I do love the fact that I can connect my music and listen while working out and that it stores pretty easily if I needed it to. Right now I don't but that sure is a good feature to have. All in all I would say that it's a very good buy. For those looking for a decent treadmill to work out in the comfort of your home then this would be great for you.

Our first treadmill - initial impressions on delivery, setup, and first use - BAD Customer Service
Received the unit today via UPS 1 day ahead of what Amazon projected. The box looked somewhat beat up but was fully intact. The UPS driver was nice and wheeled it into my garage. Took 2 adults to get the box into the house, in this case, down a flight of stairs into the basement. It also takes 2 adults to remove the main unit from the box as when it's packaged as there are other items on top and under the deck so you can't just slide it out yourself.Setup was straight forward but I did have a piece of the main console top cracked off during shipping. Nothing effecting the unit working but kind of a bummer. They don't package the console very well. I'll be contacting Marcy Support to get a replacement console so right now until that's done, hence the 1 star removal. The unit includes all the tools needed. It's mainly attaching the side arms, 1 arm you need to fish the control wire through the bar but they provide a pre-run pull wire to make it easier. The rest is bolts/washers. The unit could use a longer power cord as it's plugged into the front of the unit and barely reaches the back of the unit. It's the same style as a normal PC power cord (3 prong nema 15 for the wall C13 end for the unit end) so finding a longer replacement should not be too difficult as to not use a extension cord. Keep in mind the plate on this unit says up to a 9 amp draw so get a cord with 14 or 12 gauge conductors if your going longer then 10 ft on the cord to keep from starving the motor.Overall not a bad unit. Never really used a treadmill before so my initial walk/run felt weird but I guess that's expected. Time will tell on how it will hold up and over all usage. My main usage is for 2 adults to use it for walking when the weather outside is not good and some light jogging/running to see if it's a sport i'll take up.As time goes on and my interactions with Marcy CS - i'll update my review.Update 4/17/2018 - I have dropped my review down to 1 star now - mainly as the unit is still working but the manufacture Marcy/Impex customer service is just horrible. Hopefully you don't need to contact them or look for warranty response as you will be very disappointed. I'm at week 15 and still no resolution to my broken console. Their initial response, tear down the unit, pack it up, and bring it to an accessible ground level location to be picked up for a return. They where suppose to ship the WHOLE console and not just the shell as that would require a complete tear down of all the electronics, un-glue/re-glue the lcd screen on, and re-wire - not something a customer should be doing and they don't offer service providers to do the work. After 2 weeks on back and forth, they said they will order and ship a whole new console. That took 12 weeks to arrive. Yup - 12 weeks for a part. So UPS drops a box at my door step. It's way over sized for the part and barely tapped together. UPS even used their own tape to keep it closed in transit. Inside is just the console shell NOT the whole unit. It's wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap and surprisingly in one piece for being in a box about 2X the size of the part with no bracing and bouncing around. .Of course while the part is in one piece, the side of the console is all scratched up, looks a lot like razor knife cuts from careless handling. So far we are post 1 week after reaching out again and no response from Marcy/Impex.When I go looking for more home gym equipment, I will make sure to take Marcy, Bionic, and Apex (all Impex brands) from my list - you should too.
