Good for trunk carry.
It is not the best material. I have not use it yet, but it will be in my truck for when I do need it. Fair for the price.

A decent basic set
- Made in ChinaShovel:- Slightly beveled, totally unsharpened at all, including the "saw"- Common fold-out-and-screw-down- Pouch is fine, belt loop on the backSaw:- alternating teeth, nicely sharp- lock blade- Orange parts are rubbery, good grip- A good slight flex to the blade- Pouch is fine, belt loop on the backHatchet:- Full tang- Composite handle, well- shaped but for a pretty large hand- Decently sharp but isn't great steel so resharpening will be a chore- Rope cutter decent sharp- On the heavy side but surprisingly decently balanced- Cover has 2 snaps but I cannot for the life of me get the 2nd one resnapped again, if you don't want it wobbling in thereFixed blade:- Full tang- Paracord wrap into lanyard - harsh but should be expected- Very decently sharp and seems to be better steel than hatchet- Bolster is a bit harsh raw like that but it's not sharp- Good weight, good balance- Standard nylon sheath, snap wrapMachete:- Full tang- Composite handle + lanyard hole, shaped well but for large hand again- Seems to be same steel as the fixed blade- Nicely sharp, nicely shaped but on the small side- On the heavy side for its size but, even though it's small, but again, decently balanced- Standard nylon case, 1 snapSharpener:Um. Well, it'll do for little emergencies but they marked the carbide side as "coarse" and the ceramic side as "fine". That's not remotely the case. Steel should not be sharpened on ceramic sharpeners. Those are for ceramic knives.I liked the look of this set because it doesn't have a ton of cheap bits n pieces along with it. I've had enough of that mess. I'm a prepper so low/no-tech tools are my thing and this is a decently serviceable set. It's going in my ATV pack.A decent utility set.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. Full tang and sharp! Just be aware that not everything is legal to conceal.
The media could not be loaded. Check out the video I made where I open up most of these and caution about the legalities that you ought to look into if you're going to carry these in public. Overall, though, these are very strong and sharp. Totally be careful, with you and those around you while wielding.
