I have to be honest, it does taste kind of odd.Just kidding. It is an HVAC fitting sealant. Pretty much the standard.Don't eat it.

When you buy it, it comes in a box. When you lose it in your junk pile, remember to look for a box, not a bottle. Now I have the two from the box and a new one in a shrink-wrapped bottle.I put them all together so that I can buy another one when they disappear again.

This stuff works great, easy to apply. I use it with Mr. Cool mini split installations and have had zero leaks.

I use this on flair nuts and most other threaded fittings that is used for refrigerants.Somehow it stops the most stubborn leaks the first time. One tine I came across a flair nut thathad been cross threaded and it was in a very tight place to get to and was not able to re flairthe tubing. So I took it a part and gooped up the crossed threads and tightened the best I couldAnd to this day it has not leaked a bit.If you haven't used this goop yet give it a try..... still can't believe how well it works
