Assassinorum: Kingmaker

Title says it all.

A really good book. As others have pointed out, it is really as much about Imperial Knights as it is about assassins. Excellent, likeable, characters; most of whom grow over the course of the book. Even a throw-away character at the beginning was quite memorable. I appreciated that it's a lot less cynical/nihilistic than a lot of 40K stuff.If you liked Abnett's Titanicus (and I'd guess Rath did) you'll like this book.

This is exactly what Black Library should focus on more. Less explored organisations within the Imperium of Man.Reading about the Officio Assassinorum and its various different Temples was an absolute breath of fresh air.The characters are fun, and so different in every way.Absolute banger of a read!
