Terrible Customer Service
We purchased this item and hired someone from Amazon to install it for us. The installers were absolutely great and went way above and beyond helping us with this device. After 3 hours on the phone with customer service, it ended up that the device we had is defective. The customer service for Optoma was terrible!! They gave us the runaround and kept trying to tell us that we installed it incorrectly until we kept telling them that we had professionals installing it, after that, they told us that their product was defective and we should return it.

Noise and Quality
Not so quiet, just below 40db when running on its own. Integrated speaker produces a nasal sound giving a low quality of sound. Very easy to connect through HDMI port. Very good quality of picture and movie on white wall requiring at least to close curtains during day in a very light room.

You would need the Greek Squad from Best Buy to set it up
Wasn't told that the projector had to be close to screen to work. You would need the Greek Squad from Best Buy to set it up. Did like the fact it had 3D capabilities.
