My 9 year old daughter and I read this book together and it was great! Topics the book brings up are self love, courage, family relationships, bullying at school, friendships and many other topics that any young girl can probably relate too! Would highly recommend.

My daughter loves representation of frizzy haired kids like herself in media and enjoyed this story fully.

The book was absolutely amazing and it reminded me a lot of myself. I have the same hair as she does and the end of the book made me really proud to have the hair that I do. I never want it down and curly and always have it up or straightened. Reading the journey of this girl really made me proud to be who I am and love my curls 🥰
